Mario Testino: 'Let Me In!'

Photographer Mario Testino's portfolio is like a who's who of Hollywood and the catwalk - from Princess Diana to Kate Moss, he's pointed his lens at just about everybody who's anybody in the world of celebrity. But what you usually see of his work are the polished studio portraits and perfectly posed, best foot forward shots from red carpet events, published in the likes of Vogue and Vanity Fair. 'Let Me In!' promises to be different, featuring 300 pages of 'off-screen' moments from Testino's personal archive, taken before, during and after official sittings, unstaged at glam events or backstage.

So, yes, here is a collection of slightly more candid faces - Madonna applying her lipstick, Colin Farrell inelegantly pulling his trousers off - but don't expect to find any ugly expressions or bad hair days. Even Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow in their bathrobes look no less than stunning.

There's plenty to drool over in here if A-list is your thing, from racy shots of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher in bed to cheeky grins on a topless Jake Gyllenhaal and a sultry Stephanie Seymour. Then there are familial snaps of the likes of like Jolie and Pitt with their 'world family' and the more mundane pics - George Clooney checking on his mobile phone, Eric Bana having his hair done.

They're refreshing images, but at Testino's own admission, he wouldn't ever publish photos that didn't make his subjects look fantastic, so don't come looking for 'caught you when you weren't expecting me' style - come looking for lots of well-toned male torsos, to-die-for white toothed smiles and ever camera-ready stars.
