Who's back?

The original cast of Simon Bird (Will), James Buckley (Jay), Blake Harrison (Neil) and Joe Thomas (Simon) all return, and the series also sees the return of Greg Davies (Mr. Gilbert), Emily Head (Carli) and Emily Atack (Charlotte).

How many episodes?

The show's back for 6 brand new 30 minute episodes, which will be broadcast later in 2010.

What should we expect?

On the new series, C4 Head of Comedy Shane Allen says: "The Inbetweeners series have gone from strength to strength and the scripts for series 3 are masterpieces of teenage excruciation. New lows have been plumbed in brilliantly inventive ways".

What's coming up?

At the start of a new term, Carli organises a charity fashion show which Simon eagerly agrees to take part in; Will tries to escape his reputation as the kid who shat himself in the exam; and Jay is still up to his neck in imaginary sexual experiences.

Over the series, the quartet also tries its hand at camping, gigs and some puff. All with disastrous consequences. And, as the year goes on, one of the boys gets a proper, living breathing girlfriend - something the others find a little hard to take, but very easy to ridicule.

Is a movie still planned?

Work continues on a feature-length film production of The Inbetweeners and a US version of the show is also in the pipeline.
