EPISODE 1: THE FIELD TRIP

It’s a new term and the infamous sociology and geography field trip to Swanage is coming up; all the boys are on board. A new girl, Lauren, has joined the school, and Will has taken a particular shine to her. The only problem is that she has eyes for Simon. Jay is on the lookout for a legendary Swanage MILF, and Neil is desperately trying to deflect the advances of an over-friendly teacher, Mr Kennedy.

EPISODE 2
: WORK EXPERIENCE

It’s work experience week at school, and while Jay has sorted out something for himself and Simon at his dad’s plant hire, a mix-up leaves Neil at a paper and Will at a garage. Mr Gilbert is either unable or unwilling to change things, so Will gets to see life in a place where he is “too clever” to actually work.

EPISODE 3
: NIGHT OUT IN LONDON

In a desperate attempt at reinvention, Will decides that the lads should be cool, and become “the boys who go to clubs”. Simon’s not so sure, but when Carli thinks it’s cool he immediately changes his mind. Simon drives them up to the bright lights of the West End, where they encounter all the characters of a great night out: aggressive bouncers, tramps and angry bus passengers.

EPISODE 4
: WILL’S BIRTHDAY

It’s Will’s birthday, and he’s planning a suitably grown-up dinner, with a few close friends, and any girls they can persuade to come. Unfortunately, Will’s party clashes with a far more popular one, and his friends have to choose between them. They end up breaking into the rival party, where Simon’s French “greasy” exchange student Patrice proves that even he is more popular than them.

EPISODE 5
: THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS

Will is asked to co-ordinate the school’s Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, and immediately uses it as an opportunity to try and snare an older university student, by helping her out at the local retirement home. The other boys help out, except for Simon, who has problems of his own: his mum and dad have separated.

EPISODE 6
: EXAM TIME

Exams are looming, and Will is getting stressed. Jay has got other things on his mind, while Simon at last seems to be making some headway with Carli, helping her revise (albeit at the expense of his own revision). Looking back on the year, the boys realise that things haven’t been all bad, but that if they had their time again Jay would be less sensitive (yes, sensitive), Simon would take Carli’s word with a pinch of salt, Will would drink a lot less energy drinks and Neil would remember his kit for his PE exam.
