Mice Parade: 'Mice Parade'

The US experimentalists' fifth album is a warm, fuzzed-out dreamscape of a record with its head firmly in the clouds. The first to be recorded in head mouse’s Adam Pearce new studio at his home out in the wilds of Bear Mountain, it does purvey some semblance of a warm homely record. The record also has a list of collaborators that would make any self-respecting indie kid green with envy or, equally, giddy with excitement at the prospect of hearing what it is these great musicians have come up with. The most notable of these collaborators is Laetita Sadler of Stereolab, who offers some delectable vocals on the wonderful 'Tales Of Las Negras'. This record is a must for fans of the likes of The Flaming Lips, Stereolab and My Bloody Valentine, and should be a delight to the ears of anyone with an interest in original music, with its original soundscapes of joyous, experimental indie guitar music.

Released 2nd July 2007 by Fat Cat Records.
