Doctor Who Drinking Game (1963-1996)

Drink once every time...
- The TARDIS materialises or dematerialises.
- A Dalek says "Exterminate!".
- The Doctor's companion screams excessively.
- The sonic screwdriver is used.
- The sonic screwdriver breaks down just long enough to create a cliffhanger.
Drink twice every time...
- Anyone is killed - drink double if they're killed by a crappy drawn-on laser effect.
- A Dalek has some kind of nervous breakdown - drink double if they proceed to say "My vision is impaired! I cannot see!".
- The TARDIS goes off-course - drink double if this is implied by the camera shaking and the cast hurling themselves around the set.
- The Doctor needs to "reverse the polarity of the neutron flow".
- A potential situation is described as "too horrible to think about".
The Paul McGann Era
Drink once every time...
- The Doctor rapidly repeats something (e.g. "No-no-no-no" or "Wait-wait-wait").
- The Master seems really camp.
The Sylvester McCoy Era
Drink once every time...
- Sylvester McCoy rolls an 'r''.
- The Doctor saves the day with his umbrella.
- Ace says any of the following: "Gordon Bennet!", "ace!", or "wicked!".
The Colin Baker Era
Drink once every time...
- The Doctor repeats something three times.
- Peri's accent slips.
- Peri's top slips.
The Peter Davidson Era
Drink once every time...
- The Doctor smiles, then frowns fetchingly.
- The Doctor puts his hands in his pockets and suddenly turns around.
The Tom Baker Era
Drink once every time...
- Tom Baker bugs out his eyes or trips over his scarf.
- Leela's butt and/or cleavage are visible.
- The Doctor offers somone a jelly baby.
The Jon Pertwee Era
Drink once every time...
- Jon Pertwee is clearly reading his lines off a prop.
- The Doctor addresses someone as "my dear".
- There's a really rubbish fight scene.
The Patrick Troughton Era
Drink once every time...
- The Doctor says "Oh dear" or "When I say run, run...".
- Patrick Troughton's hairstyle changes mid-story.
The William Hartnell Era
Drink once every time...
- William Hartnell mangles a line, buys time by giggling or coughing, or just forgets the line entirely.
- Something totally contradicts what we are told in later years.
