Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest on DVD
It’s an epic intergalactic journey for the Time Lord and his companion, in a new DVD release of the exclusive CBBC Totally Doctor Who animation The Infinite Quest. The DVD, titled Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest is a feature length compilation of the thirteen thrilling episodes from the series.
Released on 5th November 2007 by BBC Worldwide and priced £12.99, the DVD features the voices of Doctor Who stars David Tennant, as the Doctor and Freema Agyeman, as his companion Martha.
Doctor Who: The Infinite Quest features a galaxy of extras, including a look behind the scenes at both the animation studio and another at the voiceover recording. There are also interviews with the stellar cast including David Tennant, Freema Agyeman, Anthony Head and Toby Longworth, and character profiles of the Doctor, Martha, friends and foes.
Viewers can follow the Doctor and Martha as they embark upon a quest to find the secret location of The Infinite, an ancient starship that can grant people their heart’s desire. The quest takes the Doctor and Martha from planet to planet, where they encounter a whole host of beings including pirates, huge flying bugs and prisoners from the ice prison planet Volga-Noc. It’s a race against their foe, the malicious Balthazar, who is intent on locating The Infinite himself and using its power to destroy planet Earth. Will the time lord and Martha be able to find The Infinite before Balthazar can? Especially since the location of the ship is the last secret in the universe!
