In Beeny's Restoration Nightmare, coming to Channel 4 in October 2010, Sarah attempts to save the near-derelict listed Georgian stately home she's called home for the past 10 years, opening it up as a luxury events and wedding venue, thus rescuing this beautiful building and saving it for generations to come.
Over the past decade Sarah has offered advice - often ignored - to the UK's amateur property developers. But what happens when the tables are turned and it's down to her to make all the right decisions?
Sarah and her husband Graham Swift are determined to protect the heritage of Rise Hall, in North Yorkshire, and give it a new 21st century function to provide it with the income it needs to survive. They have just 12 months to transform this decaying mansion they call home - and with a date for the very first wedding already set, the pressure is on.
The renovation is a mammoth task. The huge mansion has an acre of leaking roof, a third of a mile of corridors, 11 main reception rooms, 32 crumbling bedrooms and countless bathrooms, as well as a moss-filled former gymnasium and a grade II listed stable block and numerous out buildings.
Can Sarah Beeny transform the fortunes of Rise Hall and turn it into a profitable business?
