Conspiracy: Weapons Of Mass Destruction (PS2)
Imagine, if you will, playing Goldeneye for the first time on the N64. Now picture yourself seven years later wondering how the hell someone had managed to make a new game that is worse in every way!
You play as Cole Justice (seriously!), a “retired secret agent” on “one last assignment” to take down a rogue agency called Hydra who are creating, you guessed it, weapons of mass destruction.
The levels are short, linear and totally lacking in any kind of interesting pace or layout. You move from room to room and shoot the incredibly dumb enemies, that's it. Kill them all, save the day. The blurry flat textures, pathetic voice acting and awful soundtrack just add to the lacklustre game mechanics, leaving a totally hollow gaming experience. With so many things wrong on such basic levels the only conspiracy here is how this game ever got made.
