Drink once whenever...
- Anyone uses a radio or walkie-talkie to communicate.
- John argues or disagrees with a cop.
- A Christmas song is played, hummed, or whistled, etc. (Die Hard and Die Hard 2).
- John talks to himself.
- Anyone calls another character "dickhead" or "asshole".

Drink twice whenever...
- John is in an elevator shaft.
- John says he has a headache (Die Hard With A Vengeance).
- Anyone says "Simon says" (Die Hard With A Vengeance).

Drink three times whenever...
- There's an explosion.
- John says "motherfucker".
