Burned by water and healed by blood- a half-human, half-vampire; (or Dhampir,) Rayne (Kristanna Loken) is the sexy heroine in the film. When she sniffs the scent of blood, however, the sensitive and fierce Rayne goes into a blind fit of rage- killing everything in sight and breaking free into the foreign world of Romania.

As she escapes her ‘carnival freak’ life, Rayne has one goal in mind- get vengeance for her mother by destroying her rapist and murdering father, the great Kagan (Ben Kingsley), King of the Vampires.

Rayne joins fellow enemies of Kagan to prepare for the great battle, but first she must find the all-powerful weapons: an eye, heart, and rib of a dead vampire. As she trains and searches for the remains of the deceased vampire, Boll creates suspense by adding drug-like flashbacks and incessant whispering to the blood-thirsty mind of Rayne…. And her inner struggle continues—does she crave human BLOOD or to just be RAYNE?

Directed by game to film maestro Uwe Boll, with an all star cast including Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs), Ben Kingsley (Schindler’s List,) Billy Zane (The Mummy), and Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast and the Furious), as well as a cameo by internationally-known singer Meat Loaf; Bloodrayne is blood thirsty entertainment set to make Vampires sexy!
