Top 21 James Bond Stunts

The adventures of James Bond continue this October when 007 (Daniel Craig) returns in Quantum Of Solace. To get you in the mood, we've picked out our favourite stunts from each of the past 21 Bond films.


Doctor No
(1962)
A black hearse tries to kill Bond (Sean Connery) by forcing him off the road before Bond sends the hearse crashing over a cliff in a ball of flames, in the first James Bond car chase.



From Russia With Love
(1963)
Red Grant (Robert Shaw) and Bond (Sean Connery) fight on the Orient Express.




Goldfinger
(1964)
The legendary Aston Martin ejector seat launches one of Goldfinger's guards out the roof.




Thunderball
(1965)
Bond (Sean Connery) escapes from a rooftop with a jet-pack.




You Only Live Twice
(1967)
Bond (Sean Connery) fends off an attack from SPECTRE helicopters in flat-pack mini-chopper Little Nellie.




On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)
Blofeld (Telly Savalas) and Bond (George Lazenby) engage in a bobsled chase, before Bond leaps onto Blofeld's bobsled and the pair fight.




Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Bond (Sean Connery) and Tiffany Case (Jill St John) escape from police in Las Vegas down an alley on two wheels. (We'll ignore the classic continuity error of the car being on the other two wheels when they exit the alley.)




Live And Let Die (1973)
Stuck on a tiny island in the middle of a lake full of crocodiles, Bond (Roger Moore) runs on a row of crocs' backs to get to land.



The Man With The Golden Gun
(1974)
Sheriff J.W Pepper (Clifton James) and Bond (Roger Moore) perform a "barrel roll" car jump over a river in their pursuit of Scaramanga (Christopher Lee).




The Spy Who Loved Me
(1977)
Bond (Roger Moore) skis off a cliff edge, plummeting to the ground, before opening a Union Jack parachute.



Moonraker (1979)
Jaws (Richard Kiel) and Bond (Roger Moore), with no parachute, fall from a plane and fight mid-air.



For Your Eyes Only
(1981)
Motorobikes armed with machine guns chase Bond (Roger Moore), on skis, through the snowy mountains of Northern Italy.




Octopussy
(1983)
Bond (Roger Moore) clings on to the side of Octopussy's moving train.




A View to a Kill
(1985)
Mayday (Grace Jones) parachutes off the top of the Eiffel Tower.



The Living Daylights
(1987)
Hanging out the back of a Hercules plane on a giant bag of opium, Necros (Andreas Wisniewski) and Bond (Timothy Dalton) fight eachother.




Licence To Kill
(1989)
Following a fight underwater, Bond (Timothy Dalton) nicks a harpoon gun, shoots it at a plane and waterskis behind it before climbing into the plane, throwing out the pilot and flying away.




GoldenEye (1995)
Bond (Pierce Brosnan) bungee jumps from the top of a giant concrete dam.



Tomorrow Never Dies
(1997)
Under attack from Elliot Carver's henchmen, Bond (Pierce Brosnan) drives his remote control BMW saloon around a mult-story carpark from the back seat, before jumping out and driving the car off the roof.




The World Is Not Enough
(1999)
Following an attack on MI6 Headquarters, Bond (Pierce Brosnan) jumps into Q's unfinished boat and chases assassin Cigar Girl (Maria Grazia Cucinotta) down the River Thames.




Die Another Day
(2002)
A fencing match between Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) at a posh club in London escalates into a full-on sword fight.



Casino Royale (2006)
Racing after the captured Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), Bond (Daniel Craig) sees Vesper tied up in the middle of the road and flips his new Aston Martin a record-breaking seven times as he swerves to avoid hitting her.
