Eartha Kitt: 'Live At The Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2008'

Recorded during her sell-out headline performance at this year’s Cheltenham Jazz Festival, this release is perfect for fans of the veteran singer, cabaret, stage and movie star.

Ms Kitt is on fine form as she goes through a programme of jazz standards and classics, including works by Stephen Sondheim, Irving Berlin, Jacques Brel and Cole Porter. Accompanied by a superb band, we get to see Kitt at her most sultry as she flirts with the crowd, seemingly relishing the attention she receives from her adoring audience.
