Teenagersintokyo: 'Peter Pan'

“I get the feeling that there’s someone watching over me”, sings Samantha Lim in this convincing and claustrophobic electro-pop jaunt.

The song is energising too - you can dance to it and imagine it backing a TV show. It’s more terrifyingly trendy than terrifying, and very much canon-reaffirming rather than genre busting, but 'Peter Pan' makes cool and lovable pop out of a tradition of paranoid inner city grime.
