Everyone To The Anderson: 'Everyone To The Anderson'
This Brighton three-piece offer an intriguing blend of post-hardcore guitar/ vocals with some math-rock rhythms that instantly propels them into the upper echelons of the already noteworthy Brighton scene.
For me, the stand-out track of the nine presented here is the wonderful 'Wartime Map Mystery' that combines the best elements of Guy Picciotto fronted Fugazi with some wonderful fuzzy guitars and ever-so-complicated drums. It clearly shows a band who are not afraid to take their time getting to where they want, as well as shun the mass market in an attempt to make music that they genuinely love and that will stand the test of time once all the chancers have long been forgotten about. This, I feel, clearly suggests that this band could go on to make serious waves on the UK underground scene.
Self-released in 2008.
