Look See Proof: 'Do You Think It’s Right?'

Indie rock with a disco beat and a Hoxton accent is horrendously fashionable right now. Add a new-wavey chorus and you’ve apparently got a winner, so by rights, Hertfordshire brothers and old friends band Look See Proof should be onto something.

Unfortunately, though they may very well strike it rich, there’s little musical ability on offer here; just more of the same fluorescent baseball cap-wearing idiot noise. Not as irritating as Hadouken! and a whole lot more melodic, this is still just a cheap imitation of the decent genre leaders The Rapture, who can light up parties a thousand times the size of these hopeless ne’er-do wells.
