Jonas Brothers make history with three albums in US top ten
Jonas Brothers’ new album 'A Little Bit Longer' has debuted at number one on the US Billboard Top 200 chart this week. Rounding out the top ten are the soundtrack to Camp Rock featuring Jonas Brothers at number eight and Jonas Brothers’ eponymous debut album at number ten.
This marks the first time an artist holds three titles in the top ten in Sound Scan history. The last group to come close was *NSYNC with two albums in the top ten in 1999.
On iTunes, Jonas Brothers have had six consecutive number one singles; S.O.S., When You Look Me In The Eyes, Burnin’ Up, Pushin’ Me Away, Tonight, and A Little Bit Longer. The first single from A Little Bit Longer, Burnin’ Up, debuted as the number one most added single at Top 40.
Following the UK premiere of Camp Rock on 10th September, Jonas Brothers will perform a one off London headline show at Hammersmith Apollo on 11th September 2008.
