Most Haunted Live! Series 5
This is a show that has split the nation. Possibly into one more than the usual two. There are those who don’t believe and who dismiss Most Haunted as low budget scaremongering with a low boredom threshold.
There are those who think that it’s all true and are addicted to the prospect of finally seeing that chambermaid who has been troubled so for the last however-many centuries. And there are those that adore it as camp nonsense and can’t wait to see Yvette Fielding scream in fright and David Wells come over most bizarre as he senses lost souls in search of a conduit.
I’m still not sure which group I’m prepared to join, but with more of the regular visits to spooky places up and down the countryside - the Bluescoat Arts Centre in Liverpool, the Blaire Street Vaults in Edinburgh and Southsea Castle to name but a few - you’ve got plenty of chances to switch sides in the debate.
Released on DVD on 25th June 2007 by Contender Home Entertainment.
