Junior Apprentice to return for Series 2

BBC One has announced a recommission of Junior Apprentice for a second series, following the series' debut in May 2010.

When's it back?

The second series of Junior Apprentice will be broadcast later in 2011, with Lord Sugar at its helm, along with his trusty advisors Nick Hewer and Karren Brady.

How long's it on for?

The series will return with an extended run of eight 60-minute episodes, with a brand new line-up of budding apprentices aged 16 to 17 years old, competing over a series of business related tasks to become the next winner of Junior Apprentice and win a prize tailored to his or her individual career prospects, worth up to the value of £25,000.

What should we expect?

Lord Sugar commented on the recommission: "Following the first series I have had a brilliant reaction from young people in response to the show. They will be delighted that the Junior Apprentice is coming back and with a longer run. I'm passionate about giving young business talent the chance to step up and this show is a great platform."
