Michelle challenges Carla when she is unpleasant to Izzy at the factory. She is intrigued when she runs Carla home and spots Peter entering the flat. Deciding to confront them she is surprised when Peter explains what is really going on and Carla is forced to explain about her drink problem.
He arrives at her house to discover she has made him a meal and wants to call him Colin - disturbed by her behaviour her becomes angry but she seems excited by his reaction - what has John got himself into now?
Becky is full of ideas for Christmas with Max but Steve lets her down gently explaining they haven’t got cash to splash. Elsewhere, David appears in court. Will his medical diagnosis clear his name?

Factory gossip about Carla’s drink problem is rife so she seeks solace at the Joinery but Leanne has other things on her mind and send Carla packing. When Ken asks her if she has seen Peter Carla tells him he was at the Joinery. As Ken heads to the bar to look for his son will he catch Leanne and Nick together?
Molly is guilt ridden when Tyrone tells her he wants baby Jack to have the Christmas’s he never had as a child. Meanwhile Sally is remembering this time last year when she found out she had cancer.
Jim returns to declare his feelings for Liz - will Owen be able to keep his cool? Elsewhere, John tells Joy Fishwick that Colin has gone back to Canada but doesn’t want to be contacted.
Leanne summons Carla and explains how Ken walked in on her and Nick. Carla reminds Leanne she can only have one man and must choose. Will she get the outcome she’s hoping for? Deirdre’s stunned as Ken relates his shocking discovery. With Peter out of the way they confront Leanne. She tries to explain herself, claiming her fling with Nick was a big mistake and that it’s Peters she loves. As she begs for a second chance Ken’s furious at being put in such a difficult position. Will he reveal all to Peter?
Molly plays along with Tyrone’s enthusiasm for their first family Christmas but when Sally invites the Dobbs’ to Christmas dinner will she be able to keep up the act?
John’s forced to dine with Charlotte’s parents. John turns up at Charlotte’s for tea to find she’s invited her parents and told them he’s her fiancé Colin. When Charlotte’s dad orders him to treat her well John’s appalled, will he carry on with the façade? Elsewhere, Steve’s shocked to hear that Jim is in hospital after being set upon by thugs in a pub. But is there more to it than a random attack?

Leanne feels guilty when Simon declares he’d like to call her ‘mum’ after the wedding and Peter suggests adopting him. So when Nick then begs her to run away with him she insists she’s sticking with Peter. As Leanne begs Deirdre to persuade Ken she’s finished with Nick and loves Peter it seems she’s made up her mind. But as Peter gathers Leanne, Ken and Deirdre in the Rovers to toast the future, stating he’s never been happier, will Ken burst his bubble?
Tyrone’s miffed with Molly for rejecting the Websters’ invitation. She claims she wants them to spend their first Christmas as a family at home but when he discovers she’s still taking her contraceptive pills confrontation looms. As Tyrone demands to know why Molly doesn’t want another baby with him will she confess?
Charlotte watches as John, Fiz, Chesney and Katy drag a Christmas tree into No.5. Elsewhere, Steve goes to the hospital to give Jim a lift home but he’s startled when Jim asks him to watch out for Liz as he believes Owen arranged the attack on him.

Tyrone and Molly argue as Tyrone asks where he stands. But when Molly walks off a gutted Tyrone pours his heart out to Sally and Kevin. As Sally attempts to buoy him Kevin slips out to see Molly. She tells him she’s leaving Tyrone and taking the baby. Kevin begs her not to implicate him but when Tyrone arrives home hoping to patch things up will Molly break his heart?
Charlotte calls on John and demands they go shopping for a Christmas tree together. John tells Charlotte his double life isn’t working. But when Charlotte agrees, presuming this means he’s going to leave Fiz for her, will John have the energy to argue?
When an under pressure Leanne breaks down at work Nick begs her to marry him instead of Peter, how will she react? Meanwhile Carla apologises to Peter and pretends she’s over her crush on him.
Elsewhere, Tina is offered a job at the Rovers. The McDonalds clash when Rita turns up in the pub with Max, who had wandered over to The Kabin alone.
