Nick goes missing after the explosion at the café, in which someone is hospitalised with serious injuries. Garry, meanwhile, opens the envelope containing Dawn's modelling photos but is shocked to discover they are not exactly what he was expecting. Elsewhere, Whitney has an encounter in the park with the mystery man who has been watching her.

Bianca discovers that Whitney has been lying to her. Meanwhile, Phil has an offer for Dawn that Garry is reluctant to accept. There is a party in the Queen Vic but one notable person is missing from the celebrations. There's also a surprise visitor to the Jackson household.

Ronnie suggests to Jack that they could rent out his flat and move into the house he rents to Tanya. However, Jack has other ideas. Whitney's, mum, Debra, meanwhile, turns up but Bianca is concerned that her arrival could spell trouble. Elsewhere, Theo introduces Chelsea to some of his friends, although Chelsea feels that she doesn't fit in.

Zainab forges a plan to keep an eye on Syed and Parveen, but ends up getting caught out. Jack, meanwhile, increases Tanya's rent so she can no longer afford it, but Max makes her an offer she can't refuse. Elsewhere, Lucas encourages Chelsea not to give up on her relationship with Theo, while Whitney receives some important news.

Syed decides to teach his mother a lesson. Meanwhile, Chelsea has an encounter with a new man and Debra continues with her attempts to turn Whitney against Bianca. Ronnie is also plotting to keep Roxy and Amy out of Jack's life.

Whitney suggests to Debra that her stay in Walford could be more permanent. Elsewhere, Zainab uses the webcam to spy on Amira, Ronnie packs a suitcase and Tanya considers whether or not to give Max another chance.

Max bumps into a dishevelled blonde woman stumbling in the street and is shocked when he realises who it is. Bianca, meanwhile, tries to cheer up Whitney and Amira attempts to get into Zainab's good books. Elsewhere, Denise is unhappy that Chelsea has dumped Theo for Ellis, and a surprise visitor turns up to wish Christian a happy birthday.

Zainab is furious when Christian puts her forward to sing at Bushra's event, but she finds a way to get her own back. Whitney, meanwhile, finally opens the envelope that Debra gave her and is puzzled by its contents. Peggy later discovers something in Jack's flat and Chelsea decides to leave the Square with Ellis.

Bradley invites Stacey for a drink but, rather than having the good time she was hoping for, Stacey is saddened when Bradley explains the real reason that he asked her out. Meanwhile, Whitney sets out to find Debra's house and is shocked by what she discovers.

Christian confides in Amira that he's pulled a new man and Minty is upset when Manda won't go back to his house after their date.

Denise goes behind Lucas's back and contacts Trina. Meanwhile, the Masoods have a business proposition for the Beales and Bradley and Max are thrown out of their flat. Later, concerned that she can't contact her sister, Roxy goes to see Jack to find out what is going on.

Denise finds out that Lucas has lied to her. Elsewhere, Ian cooks a meal for the Masoods but the food is not to everyone's taste, while Roxy tells Jack that Ronnie has gone for good. Minty, meanwhile, is upset when Manda stands him up.
