Jordan is still concerned about Trina's bracelet and asks to be taken to the funeral home to see if it's on her wrist. In the Vic, meanwhile, Stacey panics when she sees Ryan and makes a hasty exit. Ryan chases her through the Square, but Stacey tells him to stay away from her or she will call the police.

Chelsea tells Lucas that she wants to tell Denise about the bracelet. However, he tells Chelsea that, because they are burying Trina, they should bury all the drama with her. Christian, meanwhile, tells Syed that he doesn't want to have to see Syed and Amira together.
Monday 5th October 2009
Syed is helping to paint the vandalised front door for his mum. Zainab confides in Syed that she knows the "Bad Boy" referred to in the graffiti is Tamwar. Stacey tries to help Ryan shift some stock but he is bemused by her erratic behaviour.
Tuesday 6th October 2009
Zainab confronts Masood about his alleged affair with Jane, and he is furious that she doesn't trust him. Bradley goes to see Jean about the divorce papers and asks her to tell Stacey that they need to be signed. Jean pleads with him to let her tell Stacey in her own way.
Thursday 8th October 2009
Tanya and the girls set off for the Queen Vic to say goodbye to Bradley. Max, however, decides that he is not going to attend as he has better things to do. Meanwhile, Stacey's behaviour grows increasingly erratic and those closest to her decide that serious action needs to be taken.

Joel and Ronnie argue about their future together. Meanwhile, Bradley is concerned about Stacey's health and frantically tells someone to go and check on her. But everyone reassures him that Stacey is fine and that her mum is looking after her. They encourage Bradley and Syd to leave for Canada.
Monday 12th October 2009
Owen returns to the Square, and this time he means business. There is friction in the Slater household as they come to terms with Stacey's absence. Sam bonds with Janine, but is their friendship true? And Shirley has a new job that doesn't exactly go according to plan.

Liz begs Pat to keep her secret but will Pat betray her? Sam is chuffed when she lands a job at R&R but how will Phil take the news? Shirley has a dangerous plan to make some much needed cash and Archie continues to scheme with Janine.

Patrick discovers Liz's secret and threatens to take matters into his own hands. When Masood announces he is off to Pakistan, Syed and Tamwar plot to restore harmony to their household. Sam moves in with Ricky, much to Bianca's displeasure and Shirley asks Jack a huge favour.

Sam tells Jack she cannot accept his offer of a job but she ends up accepting a passionate kiss instead. As news of his visit filters out, is the game up for Owen? Zainab eats humble pie, meanwhile someone is watching Syed and Christian.

Heather's waters break and Patrick is there to hold her hand, while Shirley gets more desperate to make ends meet. Janine attempts to tear Sam's new life apart, and Libby discovers that Darren is up to something. Poor Billy and Jay are given their marching orders from the Vic.

Heather gives birth to a baby boy, but the father is nowhere to be found. Phil stands up for Shirley, Jay tries to put a smile on Billy's face, and Minty voices his regrets about not being a dad. Libby says yes to Darren, but will Adam ruin their happiness?

Heather calls the father to come and see his son - who will it be? Meanwhile, Tamwar takes his birthday celebrations into his own hands. Libby is attacked about her decision, and Owen is caught in the middle.

Heather waits anxiously until the father of her baby finally arrives. Syed realises that his blackmailer is very close to home, and Denise wades in on Libby's future. Minty finds a chink in Adam's armour.
Monday 26th October 2009
Syed is still shocked by the blackmail-style note and hides it from Zainab. Zainab expresses her disbelief that someone spiked Tamwar's drink at the Vic. Tamwar grows tired of trying to prove his innocence. At the car lot, Janine spies on Archie and Jack. When she tries to investigate, Archie reminds her that she's not the best at seeing things through. When she sees Archie at the café later, Janine tries to warn him off Jack.

Syed asks Tamwar why he told Amira about his past. Tamwar says he is unhappy that Syed is always the golden boy. Meanwhile, Denise is uneasy about meeting Owen. Lucas tries to calm her down but she recalls the horrid memories of what he did to Libby.
Thursday 29th October 2009
Ryan disturbs Ronnie who is deep in thought. He manages to cheer her up but, after some harmless flirting, she backs off and warns him to steer clear. At Janine's, Ricky hands Ryan a birthday gift and a mystery card for Janine and invites them to the Queen Vic for drinks later. Once Ricky has left, Janine comes out of hiding and admits she does not like birthdays. She opens her card and coyly smiles, suddenly seeming upbeat about the day.

Over dinner, Owen proposes a toast to Libby, declaring that she has inherited her mother's cooking skills. They laugh as they recall a time when Denise had a cooking disaster. Lucas, meanwhile, detests this warmth between Denise and Owen. Later, at Jack's, Sam asks him why he rushed off. She gives him the opportunity to end their affair and he replies that he wants to, but being sensible was never his strong point. They end up in a passionate embrace.
