Tanya thinks she has worked out what is wrong with Jane and confronts her about why she is avoiding babies. When Tanya pushes the issue, Jane reveals that she is frustrated because she wants a child of her own. Meanwhile, Sam tells Archie that she wants nothing more to do with him after what he did to Peggy. Attempting to make her feel guiltly, Archie responds by telling her that he provided her bail money.

Archie is handed a flyer for The Vic's bonfire event. Peggy snatches it from him and tells him he's not wanted in Walford. Meanwhile, in The Vic, Denise asks Owen why he is still in Walford. Owen declares he was persuaded to stay, and Denise admits to Pat that she wants rid of him.

Jane receives a pile of mail. One particular letter is an application to adopt. Meanwhile, Ronnie remarks how tired Peggy looks. She seems run-down and stressed about something. Sitting Ronnie and Roxy down, Peggy admits that the Queen Vic is running at a loss.
Friday 6th November 2009
Archie and Peggy reminisce about the old days. Peggy tells him that none of Eric's friends liked him – they couldn't trust him and they sussed him out right away. Meanwhile, Jane and Masood grow closer when she confides in him about her need to have a child of her own.
Monday 9th November 2009
Ronnie catches a soaking wet Owen in the sitting room looking at Danielle's picture. She questions him about his feelings for Denise but Owen lies, denying he has any. Peggy, meanwhile, is happy with the turnout for the Queen Vic's "happy hour", but this fades when she sees Archie. Causing a scene, she tells him that he isn't welcome.
Tuesday 10th November 2009
Ronnie tells Owen that she doesn't want Roxy to know that he stayed the night. But, as Owen leaves the Vic, Denise catches him and makes a comment about him being an early starter. Janine catches up with Archie in the Square and asks him what he's playing at. He tells Janine that her plan was rubbish and he has a better one – but it's private.
Thursday 12th November 2009
Owen spots a troubled Denise while walking through the Square. She notices him and turns away, twiddling her engagement ring. Patrick informs her Lucas is eager to discuss wedding plans but a frustrated Denise walks off. Meanwhile, in the café, Lucy puts her sleuthing skills to good use, trying to establish who attacked her. She still thinks it's Syed, but Jay says she has no proof.

Sam tries to tell Jack that their relationship is over but, when he kisses her, she can't resist. Archie sees them kissing and cracks a devious smile. Peggy overhears Archie telling Roxy that he might show up unannounced at Amy's party, and that he can always talk Peggy round. Peggy angrily asks Roxy to leave.

Libby tries to get Owen released from prison. Denise is annoyed by this and pressures Libby to get ready to go shopping for bridesmaid's dresses. Libby ignores her – she is too involved in trying to help her dad. Meanwhile, Jack offers to babysit Amy but Roxy is reluctant and continues to make excuses.

Janine collars Archie in the Square and asks him how the divorce is going. He replies that these things take time. She tells him that she is always there to talk. Meanwhile, Max sits in the café with his laptop, looking at his monthly budget. He looks stressed and holds his head in his hands.
Thursday 19th November 2009
Roxy ignores Jack in the Square. Dr Al wants to invite her to the wedding, but she is too busy to listen. Meanwhile, Liz visits Owen in prison. He is convinced that Libby and Denise are in danger from Lucas. He asks Liz to help him prove that Lucas is hiding something.

Phil orders Ricky to tell him what Sam's note said. Unfortunately, it reveals nothing of her whereabouts. Meanwhile, a mystery man has arrived on the Square. While Minty is repairing a car, the man comes in, casually asking a string of questions about the Arches' books and finances.
Tuesday 24th November 2009
Owen appears at Liz's fruit stall saying he has unfinished business. Liz tells him to go and hide in Jim's house but warns him he's not staying. Meanwhile, the girls head to the Vic for Denise's hen party. Seeing his chance, Lucas attempts to escape but is stopped by the boys returning to the house with drinks – they are throwing a stag party.

Ben asks Ian if he can help Phil. As they discuss a loan, Lucy mischievously suggests that she and Ian take advantage of Phil's vulnerability. Meanwhile, Christian tells Syed that he loves him and the two look on as Amira catches Denise's bouquet.
Friday 27th November 2009
Peggy berates Phil for not changing the supplier's order. He evasively admits he has a lot on his mind. Heather, meanwhile, spots Max in the market and rather sheepishly asks for her money back. Keen to keep Tanya out of earshot, Max calmly assures her she's "doing the right thing" for baby George's future.
Monday 30th November 2009
Phil advises Max that it's in his best interests to pay back the £13k he owes. He says he'll be waiting in the Vic. Ronnie, meanwhile, bursts into Roxy's bedroom to announce her return home, but discovers her in bed with Dr Al.
