Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) is in turmoil as he agonises about telling his family he’s leaving with Faye (Kim Thomson). Unable to go through with it, he lies to Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) that he has a meeting in town and heads out to see Faye. Has Mark lied one too many times? Will Natasha unravel Mark's web of deceit?
Aaron (Danny Miller) is keen to prove he's not gay so invites Holly (Sophie Powles) round and lies that Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is going out. When Paddy walks in and catches them kissing on the sofa, Aaron acts surprised. Will Holly catch on to the fact that Aaron is using her? Nikhil (Rik Makarem) is unimpressed when he catches Charity (Emma Atkins) messing around in the factory.

Faye (Kim Thomson) and Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) fail to tell their families they're leaving and reach the heart breaking decision to end their relationship. As they steal one final moment, they're unaware Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and Ryan (James Sutton) are upstairs. Meanwhile, Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) has uncovered the depth of Mark's deceit and as he and Faye tearfully hold each other, they’re horror-struck when a raging Natasha storms in. Will Ryan and Maisie find out they’re related before it’s too late? How will Natasha react to Mark’s betrayal? Will Faye and Mark stay together if their affair is discovered?
Upon hearing Faye (Kim Thomson) might be leaving the factory, Charity (Emma Atkins) jumps at the chance of replacing her and tries to convince Nikhil (Rik Makarem) she’s worthy of the job. Will Nikhil take a chance on Charity? John (James Thornton) accuses Adam (Adam Thomas) of causing trouble between Aaron (Danny Miller) and Holly (Sophie Powles) and warns him to back off. Begrudgingly Adam apologises but will he keep his word?

As Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) confronts Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) and Faye (Kim Thomson) over their affair, the commotion downstairs interupts Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and Ryan (James Sutton) who are locked in a passionate embrace. At the pair confront their parents they're faced with an agonising revelation. How will Ryan and Maisie react to the truth? What will Mark do now his deceit has been unveiled?
Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is going all out to make Angelica's christening memorable but agrees to tone it down when Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) offers to help pay and Jimmy (Nick Miles) insists it's his way or no way when it comes to godparents. Will Nicola agree to Jimmy's request? Cain (Jeff Hordley) is livid as he watches Charity (Emma Atkins) return to her old ways when she tries to convince Nikhil (Rik Makarem) to give her a better job.

As the secrets and lies of Mark’s (Maxwell Caulfield) past are exposed, those closest to him reel in horror and disgust at the colossal damage he has caused. Jimmy (Nick Miles) is grateful to Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) for her financial help with the christening and pleads with Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) not to go crazy on spending. Carl (Tom Lister) is honoured when Jimmy asks him to be Angelica's godfather.

In the wake of yesterday’s sordid revelations the villagers gossip about Mark’s disappearance. Ashley (John Middleton) is put out when Doug (Duncan Preston) tells him Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) has requested he postpone his weekend visit. Nikhil (Rik Makarem) makes it clear Charity (Emma Atkins) didn’t impress him at their business lunch.
