Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is clearly relived when Maisie (Alice Coulthard) admits she fancies Nikhil (Rik Makarem) not Declan (Jason Merrells). Meanwhile, Declan is pleased that he seems to be getting to Natasha. However, there are bigger things to worry about when nasty Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) turns up. Natasha can’t believe his cheek but it all makes sense when he reveals Maisie told him about Declan. Nathan tries to insists he’s back to help her but Natasha is unable to contain her anger as she realises he’s blackmailing her to let him come back. In turmoil, she breaks down. What is Nathan up to? Will Natasha welcome him home?
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) are relaxed in each other’s company at Smithy. However, it doesn’t go unnoticed and when Aaron (Danny Miller) catches them play fighting he’s concerned having Chas there is bringing back fond memories for Paddy.
Declan tells Nikhil that Maisie fancies him so he makes an effort to flirt with her at the Woolpack. However, he is awkward when Jai (Christopher Bisson) points out his failed attempt to woo her and insists he can’t wait to see Nikhil try.

After finally getting Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) to agree he can stay, Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) wastes no time in making sure Declan (Jason Merrells) knows his place. When Will (Oscar Lloyd) gives Nathan a heroes welcome Natasha realises she has to let him stay. However, she makes it clear he shouldn’t get too comfortable. Scheming Nathan, heads round to see Declan and attempts to force him into selling his share. However, Declan is unmoved by his childish demands and insists he isn’t going anywhere which leaves Nathan rattled.
Paddy’s (Dominic Brunt) is defensive when Aaron (Danny Miller) notices his growing affection for Chas (Lucy Pargeter). Not wanting Paddy to get hurt, Aaron kindly convinces Chas its time for her to move out. She tentatively smiles when he suggests she could still pop by. Later, Paddy is saddened as he realises he’s been “found out” but lets him down gently.
Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is taken aback when the substitute nursery teacher, Gemma (tba), is so young. When Nicola returns to find Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) with a full nappy, she causes a scene and accuses Gemma of neglect.

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) shows no remorse when the nursery has to close because her outburst lead the teacher to quit. Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) offers to take the day off to look after some of the kids. Later, Nicola arrives at Mulberry and reluctantly agrees when Laurel ropes her into helping out. When Nicola sees Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) go to bite Angelica (Rebecca Bakes) she instinctively bites her back but is immediately shocked at her actions. Laurel can’t believe it especially when Nicola refuses to tell Viv (Deena Payne). Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) leaves Laurel’s bemused by Cathy’s behaviour and when Viv sees the bite mark on Cathy’s arm she’s angrily determined to find out who’s responsible. How long can Nicola keep a secret?
Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) looks and sounds genuinely sorry when he apologises to Faye (Kim Thomson). However, Faye stays cold and warns him to stay away from Ryan (James Sutton). Upon hearing of Nathan’s pathetic apology, Ryan storms into Home Farm. Declan (Jason Merrells) interrupts his confrontation and smiles incredulously at Nathan as Ryan indignantly warns him to stay away.
Adam (Adam Thomas) is clearly distracted by Eve (Suzanne Shaw) who turns up at the farm scantily clad and refuses to wear overalls. However, John (James Thornton) is thrown when she seductively suggests she’s more interested in him. Later, Moira (James Thornton) picks up on John’s awkwardness.

Viv (Deena Payne) is determined to find out who’s behind the bite mark on Cathy’s (Gabrielle Dowling) arm. She forces Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) to take the day off to look after the kids. He is stunned when Cathy reveals it was Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) who bit her. Worried by her reaction, Bob lets Cathy tell Viv. His attempts to make her think rationally are thwarted when she immediately storms out. At Home Farm, Nicola is shame faced when Viv bursts in and confronts her in front of Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and Declan (Jason Merrells). What’s Viv’s next move? How will Nicola defend herself?
Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) is put out when Natasha and Declan go elsewhere to discuss business privately. He is eager to win his mother’s trust back but is left disappointed by Natasha’s reaction when he offers to give her all the money back.
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) admits to Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) that she’s enjoying farm life. When John (James Thornton) accidentally crashes the land rover, Eve (Suzanne Shaw) cheekily suggests he buy her lunch after taking the car to Cain (Jeff Hordley).
Viv (Deena Payne) refuses to listen to reason and when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tries to justify her actions by telling her Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) needed to be taught a lesson Viv loses it. Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) despairs as he can’t make Viv see sense. Meanwhile, Nicola breaks down when she confesses to Jimmy (Nick Miles) that she bit Cathy. Carl (Tom Lister) and Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) stifles their giggles as Jimmy persuades Nicola to come with him and apologise to Viv. However, two police officers arrive and Nicola is arrested for assaulting a minor. Triumphant, Viv watches as the police lead Nicola into the police car. Has Viv gone too far?
Aaron (Danny Miller) is trying to get back to normality as he walks Clyde for the first time. However, as he stops at the bottom of the garage drive he tenses. Adam (Adam Thomas) encourages him to go see Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Ryan (James Sutton). Before he can think twice, Cain tells him to come up for a brew. He smiles, enjoying being back to familiar territory.
Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) announces the funds have been transferred and immediately offers to have a say. However, when Declan (Jason Merrells) catches him bossing Katie (Sammy Winward) around he puts him firmly in his place.
Friday 7th May 2010

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) doesn’t help herself when she’s rude to police officer. Meanwhile, Viv (Deena Payne) ignores Bob’s (Anthony Audenshaw) pleas to retract her statement. He’s left deflated when she acts as if he’s betrayed her. At the police station, Nicola is devastated to learn she has been charged and could get six months in jail. She breaks down in Jimmy’s (Nick Miles) arms. When they return to the village, Nicola indignantly confronts Viv. Bob is shocked to hear Nicola faces prison. Disgusted, he walks away when Viv remains unapologetic. Will Bob be able to change Viv’s mind? How will Nicola cope?
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is anxious when Cain (Jeff Hordley) tells her Aaron (Danny Miller) will be starting back at work tomorrow. She asks him not to let on he knows about Aaron’s sexuality. Chas confides her worries to Paddy (Dominic Brunt), who assures her it will be good for Aaron.
Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) is nervous for Nicola and after spending the day at the police station she is touched to arrive home to a romantic meal. She is grateful that Ashley (John Middleton) has gone to so much effort and they embrace for the first time in a long time.
