Monday 10th May 2010

Aaron (Danny Miller) refuses to meet with the solicitor and instead heads to work at the garage. However, Cain (Jeff Horldey) worries it’s too soon when Aaron suffers a dizzy spell. Later, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) despair as Aaron refuses to reveal he’s gay, even if it could get him out of a prison sentence. Paddy quietly asks Adam (Adam Thomas) to try talking to him. Adam finds Jackson (Marc Silcock) and asks him to drop the charges, he’s shocked when Adam reveals Aaron’s suicide attempt. Arriving at Smithy, Aaron tries to slam the door when he sees the two lads on the doorstep. He is furious and offers no kindness to Jackson who quickly loses patience. Adam is incredulous at Aaron’s stubbornness and exclaims he just threw away his last chance of making it right. Who can stop Aaron’s road to self-destruction? Will Jackson give Aaron another chance?
John (James Thornton) is furious when he gets the Land Rover back but it doesn’t start. He refuses to pay Cain (Jeff Hordley) until the job is done properly. However, Eve (Suzanne Shaw) and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) warn him off getting on the wrong side of Cain.
Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is paranoid everyone is talking about her as she and Jimmy (Nick Miles) hand out their wedding invitations.
David (Matthew Wolfenden) is shocked to learn they are selling Farrers when Val (Charlie Hardwick) and Pollard (Christopher Chittell) show an estate agent round. Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Charlie (George Costigan) grow closer much to Doug’s (Duncan Preston) chagrin.

Eve (Suzanne Shaw) comes into Butler’s covered in mud and decides to take a shower. Just as she’s pulling her top on John (James Thornton) enters and allows himself a sneaky look, and Eve is encouraged by John’s flirting. In the Woolpack later, Eve’s flirting doesn’t go unnoticed as she sidles up to John at the bar and feeling defensive Moira (Natalie J Robb) points out that she clearly has a soft spot for him. She slyly follows Eve to the toilets and feigning friendliness, she warns Eve not to pursue married men. Will Eve take the hint or step up her game?
Aaron (Danny Miller) overhears Paddy (Dominic Brunt) talking to Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Rhona (Zoe Henry) about prison. Paddy feels guilty when Aaron interrupts.
Jimmy (Nick Miles) tries to assure Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) she’s a good mum when the social worker visits. Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) feels terrible when Jimmy tells him about Nicola’s visit from the social.
John squares up to Cain (Jeff Hordley) over the damaged Land Rover. However, it doesn’t help and Cain secretly sabotages the car further. David’s (Matthew Wolfenden) unsure when Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) suggests he make Pollard (Christopher Chittell) an offer on Farrer’s.

John (James Thornton) is furious when Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) explains that Cain (Jeff Hordley) took the clutch cable off the Land Rover. Storming into the garage, Cain provokes John to see how far he can be pushed. Cain’s relaxed demeanour grates on John but he refuses to rise to it and leaves refusing to pay the bill. Cain is livid as he rails at being out of pocket. How far will Cain push John?
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is hurt when Aaron (Danny Miller) tells her he doesn’t want or need her at court tomorrow. Later, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) implore Aaron (Danny Miller) to reveal the truth about his sexuality. However, Aaron is determined and feigns bravado at being able to handle prison. Will Aaron keep up his macho act or do the right thing?
The attraction between Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Charlie (George Costigan) is palpable and she’s impressed when he talks about his French châteaux.
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) faux-reluctantly tells John about Moira (Natalie J Robb) warning her off. Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) tries to hide her disappointment when David (Matthew Wolfenden) says they can’t afford Farrers. Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) can’t muster the enthusiasm to look at wedding dress samples. Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) is unrepentant as he lies to get out of dinner with Viv (Deena Payne).
Thursday 13th May 2010

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) makes a final attempt to get Aaron (Danny Miller) to change his guilty plea but he is adamant and heads to court alone. In court, he is filled with warmth when he looks up to see the gallery full of his family and friends. However, he is stumped as Jackson (Marc Silcock) arrives. The magistrate suggests this go no further if they have a guilty plea but he asks if there is any further research. Feeling the pressure, Aaron looks up and sees the pain etched on his Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Chas’s faces. Will he save himself?
Doug (Duncan Preston) invites Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) out for the night and makes a point of telling Charlie about it. However, Doug is devastated Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) makes him work late and he has to cancel his plans. Diane’s prickled with guilt when she sees how disappointed Doug is.
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) ramps up the flirting and fakes an injury on the farm. She’s pleased when John (James Thornton) rushes to her aid. Will John do the dirty on Moira?
Moira (Natalie J Robb) thinks John should drop his feud with Cain (Jeff Hordley). Declan (Jason Merrells) makes Nathan mark down everything in the shop by 25%. David’s (Matthew Wolfenden) last ditch attempt to secure a mortgage for Farrers only gets Leyla’s (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) hopes up.
Aaron (Danny Miller) stuns his family and friends when he tentatively reveals the real reason he attacked Jackson (Marc Silcock). He is shocked when the court decides on 150 hours of community service rather than a custodial sentence. Celebrating at Smithy, Adam (Adam Thomas) lightly teases Aaron but it is clear he is disappointed that Jackson left. Adam tries to assure Aaron he did the right thing. However, he is full of fear and regret as he questions whether he’s just made the biggest mistake of his life. Can Aaron start to move on now everyone knows? Or will he regret coming out?
Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) tells Charlie (George Costigan) that Doug (Duncan Preston) cancelled their plans. She is touched when Charlie insists they have dinner instead. However, she feels terrible when Doug returns home to find her with Charlie.
Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) fumes at Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) for throwing his weight around. Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) notices John (James Thornton) likes Eve (Suzanne Shaw) more than he’s letting on, however John assures Andy he loves Moira (Natalie J Robb). Leyla’s (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) cynical but David’s (Matthew Wolfenden) hopeful they will find a suitable house.

Doug (Duncan Preston) warns Charlie (George Costigan) to keep away from Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) because she‘s not interested. However, when Diane hears of this she resolves to tell Doug the truth. Meanwhile, Doug prepares a romantic meal for her. He opens up and confesses that he has fallen for her and hopes they have a future together. Nevertheless, he is left reeling when halfway through she proclaims they could never be more than just friends.
Aaron (Danny Miller) is horrified when Chas (Lucy Pargeter) shows him the newspaper article about his court case. He is anxious as he realises everyone knows. Later, Chas and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) are pleased when Aaron resolves nothings going to change so he’s going to return to work tomorrow.
Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is unconvinced by Eve’s (Suzanne Shaw) insistence that she is having harmless fun flirting with John (James Thornton). Later, John allows himself to be drawn in by Eve and confides that Holly has been mixed up in drugs.
John is fuming when Cain (Jeff Hordley) refuses to foot the bill for the Land Rover. Moira (Natalie J Robb) wonders why Holly (Sophie Powles) isn’t at college but Holly casually makes an excuse unaware that she has been kicked out. Pollard (Christopher Chittell) introduces David (Matthew Wolfenden) to a contact on the council who might be able to help with some extra money so he can buy Farrer’s. Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) finds herself drawn to Declan (Jason Merrells) when he appears to be working wonders for Nathan’s (Lyndon Ogbourne) attitude.
