Monday 17th May 2010

Eve’s (Suzanne Shaw) seduction is relentless when she turns up to work in skimpy attire and pretends to ha have cut herself on the farm – enjoying playing the injured girl act. John suggests he take her home and she’s excited to note a spark between them. In the car, she thanks him with a kiss on the cheek and then moves in further to kiss him on the lips. John foolishly allows himself to kiss her back, unaware that Cain (Jeff Hordley) has seen everything and is smiling with devilish intent.
Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is exasperated at Doug’s (Duncan Preston) unwillingness to talk. She tries to explain but he is hurt that she chose Charlie (George Costigan). Later, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Ashley (John Middleton) force Doug to spend the evening with them. In the pub, Doug finds it hard seeing them together but is forced to hold his head high when Charlie apologises.
Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and Declan (Jason Merrells) enjoy a bottle of wine in the pub. Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) is enraged to see her getting on with him so well, however Maisie (Alice Coulthard) is pleased for Natasha and urges her mum to go for it.
Aaron’s (Danny Miller) surprised when Holly (Sophie Powles) visits him at the garage and tells him she’s proud of him. Paddy (Dominic Brunt) snaps at Viv’s (Deena Payne) insensitivity about Aaron’s sexuality. Moira (Natalie J Robb) coolly warns Cain that John won’t back down over the outstanding garage bill. Jamie (Alex Carter) and Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) arrive back from their job interview in Newquay hopeful that’ll it’ll result in them starting a life together.
Tuesday 18th May 2010

John (James Thornton) admits to Eve (Suzanne Shaw) their kiss was a mistake and is relieved when she insists it’s between them. However, when Cain (Jeff Hordley) threatens to go to Moira (Natalie J Robb), John reluctantly pays the outstanding bill. Moira is bemused when she sees their altercation. In the pub, Moira is annoyed when Eve lets on John told her about Holly (Sophie Powles). Later, Cain can’t help himself and lets slip to Moira that he saw John and Eve kissing. Unable to believe what she’s hearing she storms straight home leaving Cain triumphant. At Butlers, Moira calming questions Cain’s allegation but is shocked when John confirms it.
Declan (Jason Merrells) informs Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) that shop isn’t making enough profit and they need to close it. She is incredulous and Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) supports her glad to have her on side again. However, when Maisie (Alice Coulthard) points out Declan knows what he’s talking about she reconsiders.
Awkward, Doug (Duncan Preston) moves out of Diane’s (Elizabeth Estensen) and back into Mulberry. Diane feels awful for pushing Doug out so Charlie tries to cheer her up by asking her to consider a trip to France with him.
Aaron (Danny Miller) relaxes when Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) teases him about perhaps turning him. Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) starts to plan a going away party for Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) and Jamie (Alex Carter) when they get the job in Newquay.
Wednesday 19th May 2010

Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) doesn’t miss an opportunity to stir trouble. He lets slip to Doug (Duncan Preston), Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) and Rodney (Patrick Mower) that the shop is closing. They angrily confront Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) who is incredulous and demands to know what Declan (Jason Merrells) is playing at. However, she tells them that she will come to a decision tomorrow. Later, Declan wins Natasha round and insists that business has nothing to do with them.
John (James Thornton) wakes up at Andy’s (Kelvin Fletcher) full of regret. Meanwhile, Moira (Natalie J Robb) runs into Eve (Suzanne Shaw) in the café and publicly fires her. She coldly warns her to stay away whilst Edna (Shirley Stelfox) shamefully watches.
Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) and Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) discuss her and Jamie (Alex Carter) moving away. There is a fleeting awkwardness, however they ignore it and Bob admits her and Jamie (Alex Carter) are doing the right thing.
Hannah (Grace Cassidy) approaches Holly (Sophie Powles) wanting the money back that she lent her. When Holly claims she hasn’t got it, Hannah goes into her bag and discovers a letter saying that Holly has been thrown out of college. John furiously confronts Cain (Jeff Hordley) and warns him he’ll get him back one day. Bob decides to hold Gennie and Jamie’s farewell party at the Woolpack much to Viv’s (Deena Payne) distaste

Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) is concerned for Bob’s (Anthony Audenshaw) growing frustration with Viv (Deena Payne) at the party. She catches a moment alone to talk to him. She makes him promise to make it work with Viv and they warmly embrace. They share a chaste kiss but hold the moment just as Jamie (Alex Carter) walks in. The pair desperately try to laugh it off, however Jamie doesn’t see the funny side. He looks about to blow as Viv walks in and demands to know why Jamie looks so heartbroken.
Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) spitefully comments about Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) seeing Declan (Jason Merrells). However, he’s fuming when she bites at how pathetic he is.
After letting John (James Thornton) move back in, Moira (Natalie J Robb) is distant and heads to the leaving party. She firmly tells John he can explain his stupidity to the kids so they don’t hear it from the village gossips.
Edna (Shirley Stelfox) chastises Eve (Suzanne Shaw) for kissing John and demands she apologise to Moira. Natasha tells Rodney (Patrick Mower), Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) and Doug (Duncan Preston) confirms they will be losing their jobs. Pollard (Christopher Chittell) reminds David (Matthew Wolfenden) about the lucrative cleaning contract.
Viv (Deena Payne) realises that something was going on between Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) and Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) whilst she was in prison. By this point the whole pub is watching, the betrayal overwhelms Jamie (Alex Carter) and he informs everyone the party is over. Outside, Gennie is at a loss when Jamie refuses to believe nothing was going on. He asks her to leave him alone until he’s thought it over. Meanwhile, Viv is hurt that Bob betrayed her and throws him out. He is left frustrated when she throws his belongings out of the window.
Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) squeals with excited when Pollard (Christopher Chittell) mentions David’s (Matthew Wolfenden) potential cleaning contract. However, David is privately wrestling with his morals and worries about using council contacts to help his business.
John (James Thornton) tentatively comes clean to Hannah (Grace Cassidy) and Adam (Adam Thomas) about kissing Eve (Suzanne Shaw). When Holly (Sophie poweles) finally arrives home he notices she’s buzzing but is forced to ignore it and explain his infidelity to her.
Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) can’t believe Terry (Billy Hartman) didn’t tell her about Bob and Gennie. Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) is put out but agrees when Holly asks her for loan. Eve tries to get a rise out of Moira when Edna (Shirley Stelfox) tries to get her to apologise.

Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) is offered some hope when Jamie (Alex Carter) uncertainly agrees to go to Newquay with her. Meanwhile, Viv (Deena Payne) is devastated as she tells Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) their marriage is over. When Jamie arrives to talk to his dad and Viv, he is struck when Viv points out this will always hang over him and Gennie. Later, Gennie is devastated when Jamie is unable to let it go. Changing his mind, Jamie tells Gennie he doesn’t want her to come with him.
Adam (Adam Thomas) is frustrated when he finds Holly (Sophie Powles) raucous in the pub when she is meant to be in college. He is bemused when he realises how much money she borrowed from Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley). Adam confronts her and warns her if she doesn’t pay Scarlett back he’ll tell their parents.
Charlie (George Costigan) enlists the help of Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) to arrange a surprise for Diane (Elizabeth Estensen). He informs Diane he is taking her out to dinner, when she turns up he reveals the restaurant is in Paris and whisks her away.
Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) tells Jimmy (Nick Miles) she’s in court just after the wedding, he assures her she won’t end up in prison. Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) makes sure Gennie knows how ashamed she is of her. Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) nearly runs Adele (Tanya Vital) over in the street and offers to buy her a drink later to apologise. Later, Adele is disappointed when Lisa (Jane Cox) warns her Andy isn’t worth the trouble.
