Tuesday 25th May 2010

(Episode 5616 / 5617)

John (James Thornton) and Moira (Natalie J Robb) are more than disappointed when they go to Holly’s (Sophie Powles) college art exhibition. They are stumped when her artwork doesn’t appear to be on show.. Returning back, they find Holly and Roz (Kirsty Leigh Porter), she falls into their trap as she lies she saw her artwork there this morning. They demand answers and Holly reveals she was thrown out for dealing drugs. Moira suggests taking Holly to a drug counselling session but John decides that they can handle the problem themselves, within the family.

Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) does her best to comfort Viv (Deena Payne) as she rails about how much Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) has hurt her. However, Bob is encouraged by others not to give up and goes to see Viv.

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is buzzing as she relays details of her trip to Val (Charlie Hardwick). However, Doug (Duncan Preston) watches from afar and laments at not being able to compete with the likes of Charlie (George Costigan).

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) urges Marlon (Mark Charnock) to ask Rhona (Zoe Henry) out for a drink. Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) warms towards Adele. Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is eager to support Aaron (Danny Miller) but Carl is struggling to feign concern and Chas is becoming impatient with him. Adam (Adam Thomas) insists Aaron can’t hide at Paddy’s forever and offers to go to a gay bar together, Aaron appreciates the gesture but isn’t sure he’s ready. Doug and Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) pinch the last of the Home Farm shop stock


Wednesday 26th May 2010
(Episode 5618)

Viv (Deena Payne) confronts Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) about sleeping with Bob (Anthony Audenshaw). Gennie tries to explain that it meant nothing and was a big mistake that resulted in her losing Jamie (Alex Carter). Appalled at Gennie’s self pity, Viv slaps her firmly across the face. Later, when Bob comes to talk, Viv has changed the locks, and informs him that she is filling for divorce and custody of the twins

Aaron (Danny Miller) starts his community payback, and soon realises that it’s going to be harder to fit in than he originally thought. Adam (Adam Thomas) recognizes he has had a tough day, and offers to go on a night out with him tomorrow.

John (James Thornton) tries to make Holly’s (Sophie Powles) life as grim as possible by setting jobs for her to do around the farm. Moira (Natalie J Robb) is in despair at what to do with Holly, and as a result the tension rises between her and John.

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is secretly pleased about Declan (Jason Merrells) buying a crash pad in the village, although Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) warns her to stay well away from him. Declan gives Charity (Emma Atkins) a tour round his new house, but Cain (Jeff Hordley) is far from amused.


Thursday 27th May 2010

(Episode 5619 / 5620)

At community payback, Aaron (Danny Miller) is thrown when Wayne asks him about being gay; relaying that he read about him in the paper. Aaron firmly denies and claims he only said he was gay to get a lighter sentence. He shocks himself at the depths he’ll go to avoid being “found out”. Wayne encourages him to go chat up some girls if what he says is true.

When Aaron crashes and burns with the girls, Wayne is amused. Later, as Wayne and Aaron fix a fence together, Wayne reveals he doesn’t believe Aaron is straight, and shoves the fence post, causing Aaron to fall back into the water.

Viv (Deena Payne) takes Bob’s (Anthony Audenshaw) name off the Carers list at the twins’ playgroup, so he can’t see them. They argue, and Bob resolutely warns he will fight for the twins.

Declan (Jason Merrells) is deflated when his planning permission for Dale Head has been declined. He focuses his attentions on Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and she is impressed when he insists he will get the planning permission.

Aaron’s (Danny Miller) humiliated after his fall into the lake, but when Gary intervenes, Aaron claims his fall was only an accident caused by him tripping up. Wayne smirks as Aaron is forced to go and get changed into dry clothes. Adam (Adam Thomas) is sorry to hear Aaron’s had a rough time but insists all the more reason to go out. They head to bar west, and Adam insists it’s not as bad as Aaron thought it would be. Aaron agrees that Adam’s right, until he spots Jackson (Marc Silcock). When Aaron tries to apologise to Jackson, he firmly points out that he isn’t interested and that he would never want to be with someone violent like Aaron. Later, as he and Adam leave, Aaron is gutted to see Jackson kissing another guy.

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) finally relents to attend a work event with Declan (Jason Merrells). When Natasha returns home, Nathan is waiting up to make sure she didn’t come home with Declan.

Guilty, Hannah (Grace Cassidy) admits to John (James Thornton) that she knew about Holly (Sophie Powles) getting thrown out of college. She worries that she inadvertently enabled Holly to take drugs. However, John riles at how sneaky Holly has been.

Charlie (George Costigan) informs Diane that he will have to go back to France at some point, and invites her along with him. Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) begs Viv (Deena Payne) to allow him to see the kids, but she won’t relent. Nikhil (Rik Makarem) and Maisie (Alice Coulthard) go on a date


Friday 28th May 2010
(Episode 5621)

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) is non committal as Declan (Jason Merrells) comments at the great night he had. It’s clear she’s enjoying his flirting though and is unable to resist when Declan leans in to kiss her. However, Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) comes in to find them in each other arms and storms off. He hastily threatens to tell Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and Will (Oscar Lloyd) about her secret if she continues with Declan.

Aaron (Danny Miller) is in despair after last nights let down with Jackson (Marc Silcock). Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Ryan (James Sutton) refuse to let up as they continue to tease him. He finally allows himself a laugh when Cain points out a sexy male calendar he bought for him.

Declan adds fuel to the fire when he announces to Cain he is getting some builders in. He faux apologises for the disruption and Cain warns him that it better not effect the Garage.

Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) puts on a brave face, and tells David (Matthew Wolfenden) she is enrolling on a business management course
