Monday 7th June 2010

(Episode 5626)


David (Matthew Wolfenden) turns Tania (Victoria Pritchard) down before hastily leaving. Back at the B&B, David relays what happened to Pollard (Christopher Chittell) who is horrified, but Pollard insists he can’t tell Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi). Outside the pub, Tania coolly hands a package to Leyla for David. Later, David is in turmoil as he watches the DVD Tania delivered and realises he’s been set up. What does Tania really want?

Jimmy (Nick Miles) urges Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) to face reality when he finds out she missed her solicitors meeting. She tells him that focusing on the wedding is the only way she can cope with the court hearing.

Charlie (George Costigan) gives Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) a handout of cash so that he can go visit Sarah. He is reluctant to take it but eventually accepts and promises to keep it from Diane (Elizabeth Estensen).

Doug (Duncan Preston) is frustrated as he feels that Charlie is too good to be true and confides his fears in Sandy (Freddie Jones). Marlon (Mark Charnock) is troubled when Paddy (Dominic Brunt) tells him that Rhona (Zoe Henry) may have a man on the scene after she takes a secret phone call. Eve (Suzanne Shaw) decides to take Nicola’s hen party into her own hands.


Tuesday 8th June 2010
(Episode 5627 / 5628)

David (Matthew Wolfenden) is shocked to discover that Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) is behind Tania’s (Victoria Pritchard) blackmail, to make sure that he votes in favour of Declan’s (Jason Merrells) planning application. David’s torn when Nathan points out the damage he can do and offers to pay the deposit on Farrer’s if David complies. Will David put his morals first?

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is crestfallen when the wedding car company cancel on her but Rodney (Patrick Mower) promises to sort it and she’s grateful when Charlie (George Costigan) offers his car. Her lifted spirits are short lived when Jimmy (Nick Miles) reveals the court hearing has been scheduled for the same day as their wedding.

Aaron (Danny Miller) is fed up when Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Ryan (James Sutton) tease him after they catch him glancing at Jackson (Marc Silcock).

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Eve (Suzanne Shaw) look forward to Nicola’s hen night. Rhona (Zoe Henry) agrees when Ryan and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) ask her to to rent their third room. Charlie, Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) head to France on holiday. Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is shocked when he finds out that Rhona is his competition for the practice and he’s angry when he finds out Marlon (Mark Charnock) knew.

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is devastated about her wedding day clash but ask Ashley (John Middleton) to move it to just after the hearing and satisfied she and Jimmy (Nick Miles) press ahead with preparations for their stag and hen nights. The fancy-dress hen night is in full swing at Mill Cottage until the alcohol runs out. Eve (Suzanne Shaw) offers to get some more from the pub but gets involved in shots with the stag party and lures Carl (Tom Lister) into her flirtatious ways. Meanwhile, tipsy Nicola is dragged away by Chas (Lucy Pargeter) when she gets into an argument with Viv (Deena Payne) in the street.

David (Matthew Wolfenden) decides he will cooperate with Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) but demands that he wants the camera memory card and half the money upfront. David is left ashamed to be playing Nathan at his own game.

Aaron (Danny Miller) tries to speak to Jackson (Marc Silcock) but is shot down again when he tells him to get lost.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) continues the feud with Declan (Jason Merrells) when he takes a delivery for Declan making sure its ‘safe’ in the garage. Adele (Tanya Vital) is touched when Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) spends the night with her instead of being lured into joining the stag do. Paddy (Dominic Brunt) refuses to forgive Rhona (Zoe Henry) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) for secretly bidding against him for the vets.


Wednesday 9th June 2010
(Episode 5629)

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) has the hangover from hell but is happily shocked when her brother Paul (Mathew Bose) arrives for the wedding. However, at the rehearsal Nicola panics that it’s never going to happen so decides to call the wedding off. Jimmy (Nick Miles) emotionally pleads with her that whatever happens tomorrow they are getting married. After the rehearsal, Nicola tells Jimmy she doesn’t want him at the hearing. Seeing how worried she is, Jimmy tries to have a word with Viv but is appalled by her coldness.

Aaron (Danny Miller) really puts his foot in it when Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) tries to get Paul to give him some advice. Anxious, Aaron is quick to shoot him down but is gutted when Jackson (Marc Silcock) overhears him.

Declan (Jason Merrells) is exasperated when Cain (Jeff Hordley) hints that his brand new bath is in the bottom of the skip, with all Cain’s junk on top. However, much to Cain and Charity’s (Emma Atkins) amusement, the bath is in their living room.

Rhona (Zoe Henry) moves into Dale Head with Ryan (James Sutton) and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher). Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is thoughtful when Marlon (Mark Charnock) suggests letting Rhona buy into his practice after neither he or Rhona won the bidding on the other place.


Thursday 10th June 2010
(Episode 5630 / 5631)

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is preparing for the day ahead and finally agrees to let Jimmy (Nick Miles) come to court with her. Outside the court room, Nicola is unable to keep it together and when she sees Viv (Deena Payne) in the toilets she offers her a genuine apology. However, Nicola grows impatient when her hearing is delayed and she decides to walk out. However, she’s torn when she’s about to leave for her wedding and the usher calls her name. Will Nicola choose the court case or her wedding?

Aaron (Danny Miller) refuses to condone Cain’s (Jeff Hordley) dispute with Declan (Jason Merrells) and Jackson (Marc Silcock) and undermines him to help Jackson.

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) attempts to explain her unease at intimacy to Charlie (George Costigan). He insists all he wants is her company.

Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) arrives at court and makes it clear to Viv he’s there to support Nicola. Carl (Tom Lister) and Eve (Suzanne Shaw) feel a frisson. Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Rhona (Zoe Henry) toast going into business together.

Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is on edge as the court case dramatically unfolds. Will she get the wedding of her dreams or spend her wedding night alone in a prison cell?

Charlie (George Costigan), Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) and Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) are sat outside a café in the French village when a young man makes haste with Diane’s bag. Heroically, Charlie gets up and chases after the thief in an attempt to retrieve the bag.

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) enjoys in the chaos of organising Nicola’s wedding. Though she regrets to admit the good times are only when Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) isn’t around.

Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) squeals with excitement as David (Matthew Wolfenden) reluctantly tells her there is a possibility they could still buy the shop and Farrer’s.


Friday 11th June 2010
(Episode 5632)

It’s Nicola’s court case and wedding day.

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) is grateful when Charlie (George Costigan) returns with her bag and as they kiss, Diane leads him to her room.

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) and Declan (Jason Merrells) steal five minutes alone together and are surprised when Maisie (Alice Coulthard) walks in on them kissing but gives her blessing.

Carl (Tom Lister) finds himself tempted by Eve (Suzanne Shaw).
