Monday 23rd August 2010

Eve (Suzanne Shaw) enjoys a girl’s night in at Mill Cottage with Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Charity (Emma Atkins) and Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley). But when Carl (Tom Lister) interrupts the raucous night, he and Eve share a charged glance. After everyone leaves and Chas goes to bed, Carl bids Eve goodnight - the sexual tension crackles and unable to hold back any longer, Carl grabs her as she goes. They passionately kiss before Chas calls down from upstairs. Eve quickly leaves as Carl heads upstairs without a flicker of guilt.
John (James Thornton) and Moira (Natalie J Robb) head over to Roz’s (Kirsty Leigh-Porter) only to find Holly isn’t there. Roz admits Holly (Sophie Powles) came round for some money and they had a huge argument, so as far as she’s concerned she wants nothing more to do with her. John and Moira are floored by the revelation but are divided in their decision on how to handle Holly.
Lizzie (Kitty McGeever) is delighted when Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) invites her on a picnic with him and the twins. It is clear Lizzie is starting to fall for Bob and as a thank you for being so great with the kids, he offers to buy her dinner.
Hazel (Pauline Quirke) is amused by Viv’s (Deena Payne) clumsy attempt to make friends. They go for a drink and Viv is delighted to have a new pal. Isaac (Jake Roche) is a pleasant distraction from home for Hannah (Grace Cassidy).

John (James Thornton) is surprised when Roz (Kirsty Leigh Porter) visits him and offers to help search for Holly (Sophie Powles). Meanwhile, Moira (Natalie J Robb) feels guilty when Holly’s disappearance overshadows Hannah’s (Grace Cassidy) successful exam results. When the search is unsuccessful, John can’t help blaming himself and resolves to call the police.
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) is hurt when Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) doesn’t like any of her business ideas. She feels worse when she tells Carl she’s under no illusions about what happened between them and he admits he hadn’t given it a second thought.
Guilty, Cain (Jeff Hordley) visits Ryan (James Sutton) in prison and tries to offer him support. He’s uncomfortable when Ryan asks him to help him find out who framed him. However, Charity (Emma Atkins) reiterates the importance of keeping quiet about the blackmail
Hazel (Pauline Quirke) enjoys making new friends, and Ashley (John Middleton) tries to convince her to set up art classes in the village hall. Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) makes life hard for Moira at work.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) urges Maisie to consider Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) as the murderer and not Ryan (James Sutton) but Maisie is outraged and starts to delete photos of Ryan from her phone. However, she’s struck when she comes to a video of Ryan at Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) & Jamie’s leaving party. Pausing it on Ryan’s image, she freezes as she realises Ryan is wearing a chain. The one they found near Mark’s body. What could this mean for Ryan? Will Maisie help him?
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) and Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) are busy putting together a business plan but Eve is all too aware that Carl (Tom Lister) can’t keep his eyes off her. Carl tries to find out about their new business and Eve uses it as an opportunity to flirt with him. It’s clear they are both unable to fight their attraction.
Val (Charlie Hardwick) decides enough is enough and realises she needs to talk to Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) when her rudeness enrages the staff. She makes it clear that without the staff Nicola would be stuffed and Nicola is forced to apologise.
Ryan is grateful to prison officer Abi when she encourages him to think positively. She tries to get him to remember when he last wore the chain. Adam (Adam Thomas) tells Scarlett the truth about Holly (Sophie Powles) stealing her purse. Jai (Christopher Bisson) admits to Declan (Jason Merrells) that given the circumstances, he needs to cool things with Faye (Kim Thomson). Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and Ashley (John Middleton) drum up some interest in Hazel’s (Pauline Quirke) art classes.

Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) tries to remain calm as Maisie (Alice Coulthard) shows her the phone video and wonders whether to go to the police. At the café, Nathan smoothly tells Maisie that he’ll go with her to the police station. However, he steals her phone when she goes to the toilet. Will Nathan really destroy the evidence? Will Maisie realise the full extent of Nathan’s evil side?
Eve (Suzanne Shaw) is pleased when Carl’s (Tom Lister) flirting seems to have moved up a notch. Playing hard to get, she leaves him frustrated when she knocks him back. Later, alone at Edna’s (Shirley Stelfox), Eve comes down from a shower to find Carl waiting for her. She asks Carl to leave, but does she really want him to?
Jimmy (Nick Miles) goes on a driving job and leaves Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) in the lurch when Maisie calls in sick, so she decides to teach him a lesson. When he returns, she asks him to change a barrel and locks him in the cellar.
Chas (Lucy Pargeter) grits her teeth when she is sure Hazel (Pauline Quirke) is criticising her parenting.
Maisie (Alice Coulthard) is frantic when she can’t find her phone and Nathan faux helps her look for it. Meanwhile, Declan (Jason Merrells) is curious at Maisie’s erratic behaviour and is suspicious when Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) reveals new evidence was on her phone. Maisie heads out to see if anyone else has any photos of that night while Nathan hands Natasha the phone and she deletes the footage. When Maisie returns, Natasha and Nathan try to comfort her but the seed has been sewn and it’s clear Maisie doubts Ryan is guilty. Is Nathan’s plan unravelling? How will Natasha cope with Maisie?
Carl (Tom Lister) and Eve (Suzanne Shaw) leap apart when Edna (Shirley Stelfox) arrives home. Later, aware of the attraction, Jimmy (Nick Miles) warns Carl to stay clear of Eve.
Fed up of the arguing, Rodney (Patrick Mower) locks Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) in the cellar with Jimmy. Jimmy is left feeling guilty when Nicola admits how hard she is finding it running the pub so he promises he’ll fully commit to their new career.
Viv (Deena Payne) is jealous to see how well Lizzie (Kitty McGeever) and Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) are getting along so decides to confront Lizzie who panics but suggests they are just friends.
Friday 27th August 2010

Carl (Tom Lister) is incredulous when Jimmy (Nick Miles) tells him that he’s going to work in the pub full time. Aware of his bad mood, Eve (Suzanne Shaw) lingers behind when Scarlett (Kelsey-Beth Crossley) leaves for lunch. The pair kiss and it’s clear she has cheered him up. Later, Eve follows Carl round the back of the Woolpack and they can’t control themselves as they kiss passionately. Eve stops him and seductively tells him if they are going to do this they do it properly.
On her way to visit Ryan (James Sutton), Faye (Kim Thomson) bumps into Maisie (Alice Coulthard) and suggests that Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) could have taken her phone. At prison, Ryan is devastated when Faye tells him what’s happened and she’s left reeling when he makes a scene and is dragged away. Angry, Faye decides to confront Maisie about the pain she’s caused while Nathan smugly looks on.
Lizzie (Kitty McGeever) enjoys another lovely afternoon with Bob (Anthony Audenshaw) and the kids but is offended when she overhears Viv (Deena Payne) insisting Lizzie doesn’t stand a chance with Bob.
Scarlett and Eve announce they are going to start a Hen and Stag party planning business .Jimmy’s proud when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) apologises to Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Val (Charlie Hardwick) for her recent behaviour.
