Monday 25th October 2010

Faye tries to reassure nervous Maisie as she worries about her day in court. Meanwhile, Nathan is surrounded by rats as he desperately tries to break free. In court, the jury stir as the defense presents the photo of Ryan wearing the chain at Gennie and Jamie’s leaving party.

However, Ryan trips up when the prosecution remind him about his public threat to kill Mark. Its Maisie’s turn on the stand and feeling pushed she stuns the jury when she accuses of Nathan of framing Ryan. Ryan can’t contain his temper as the prosecution test Maisie and the judge orders him to be removed from court. At the barn, Nathan tries to offer Cain money to let him go. However, with a near-miss with Charity and Jai, Cain realises that Jai has bought the old barn and drags screaming Nathan into the boot of his car.

Impressed by Holly’s efforts with Hannah she decides to let them go to the village together to meet Isaac. However, Hannah is distracted by Isaac and chases after Holly when she notices her slip out. She catches Holly buying drugs and storms home to tell their parents. Holly puts on the defensive but slyly slips the wrap from Hannah’s bag when no one is looking. Moira is left reeling when Hannah reveals Isaac dumped her after she chased after Holly.

Rhona suggests to Paddy they don’t tell Marlon about their sleeping arrangements after the party as they struggle to realise why Pearl is so frosty. In the pub, Betty points out that Paddy stood Pearl up. Paddy is guilty and begs Pearl for her forgiveness. Charity is curious when Cain gives her a look that suggests she and Jai don’t go into the barn.


Tuesday 26th October 2010

Maisie and Faye anxiously wait for the verdict as Natasha is frustrated when she still can’t get hold of Nathan. Meanwhile, Cain gets angry when Nathan accuses him of bluffing and Charity’s furious to walk in on Nathan tied up. As they are all called into court, the jury give their verdict.

Moira and John panic as Hannah reveals that Holly isn’t in her room. Frantic, Adam and Moira go out looking and find her completely out of it in the barn. John is at a loss and insists to wary Moira that they crack down on Holly’s freedom. They toy with their options as Moira tentatively suggests they consider the methadone programme. John isn’t so sure as Moira tries to convince him it’s Holly’s best chance.

Carl tries hard to disguise his nerves about Chas’s return. Eve continues to nag him about dumping Chas and he tries to convince her he’ll tell Chas when the opportunity arises.

Viv is sceptical of Bob and Hazel’s friendship and approaches Lizzie to find out what happened whilst she was away.


Wednesday 27th October 2010

Nathan’s terrified as Cain advances on him and violently threatens that whatever the outcome justice will be done. Meanwhile, Maisie receives an unwanted phone call and heads to a seemingly deserted barn. Nathan’s scared as Cain informs him he’s invited someone else along and as Maisie walks in his relief to see her vanishes when he realises her hatred is raw. He quickly caves under pressure and reveals the truth to the stunned pair. Cain heads straight to Home Farm and suggests Natasha and Will come with him when he reveals he’s got Nathan. At the barn, Cain holds Will back while Natasha rushes to Nathan’s screams as Maisie beats the truth out of him.

Eve and Carl are making the most of every minute together before Chas returns, but Carl is avoiding the subject of when he’ll end things with Chas. Later, when she returns from holiday, Eve’s unsettled to witness them all over each other and confronts him. He assures her that he isn’t going to backtrack on finishing with Chas, but its clear Carl has been reminded just how much he loves his fiery girlfriend and has no plans to let her go.

Rhona feels guilty after her innocent night with Paddy in the hotel. Marlon returns and notices Rhona’s reluctance to spend time alone with him. He pulls Paddy and Rhona into a hug only to notice their awkward discomfort. When Betty mentions the party he hastily confronts them but they lie about the night. Paddy steals a moment with Rhona and questions her coolness with Marlon. She hints she’s in love with him instead but Paddy bashfully retreats.

John still isn’t happy with Holly trying methadone but Moira is adamant it’s the best way to help Holly at the moment. However, when the methadone makes Holly sick John isn‘t sure they have made the right choice.

Faye tries to comfort Ryan who faces life behind bars, he insists the only way he’ll get through this is to seek revenge on Nathan when he’s out. Declan returns from Singapore and is determined to help Maisie in her quest to out the Wylde’s secret. Chas clashes with new barmaid Alicia.


Thursday 28th October 2010

Chas invites Eve along to Gennie’s lingerie party oblivious that she also plans to buy some underwear to wow Carl. Keen to keep her man, Eve cheekily suggests to Carl she’s going to show him how lucky he is.

Viv is suspicious of Bob’s feelings for Hazel when he reveals he’s going to her art class. Not one to let things lie, Viv heads to the village hall when the art class is over but she gets the wrong idea when she sees Bob hug Hazel.

Rhona and Paddy exchange an uneasy glance as Paddy accepts Marlon’s invite to a games night, awkward Rhona tells Paddy she’s dismissed ideas about the other man and decides to let Paddy and Marlon have a night alone. Charity gets all dolled up to help Jai persuade the surveyor to grant planning permission.

Paddy’s apprehensive when Marlon asks him if he and Rhona have fallen out again. Marlon admits he’s noticed how distant she’s been and if going to confront her. However, he’s hurt when Rhona snaps there’s nothing wrong. She’s left feeling guilty but knows she can’t take this debate further and leaves Marlon puzzled.

Alicia spitefully insults Chas again and not one to be made fun of Chas decides to take revenge. At the lingerie party, Chas is fuming when Alicia spits that Chas is too old for sexy underwear. Picking on the wrong Dingle, Alicia feels the wrath when Chas locks her in a cupboard and steal her clothes. Alicia turns up in the woolpack wearing a small dressing gown as Chas throws her clothes at her.

Hazel’s taken aback when Viv angrily confronts her about being in a relationship with Bob. Hazel tells it straight and Viv softens when Hazel suggests they have a night on the tiles. Cain is jealous when Jai and Charity celebrate their business venture and when he messes with their deal and Pollard asks for more money Charity is furious. She angrily warns him that if he pulls a stunt like that again he’ll realise what she’s truly capable of. Eve is annoyed when Carl doesn’t look like he’s going to end things with Chas.


Friday 29th October 2010

Marlon’s encouraged when Rhona agrees to get some time off work so they can spend the afternoon together. However, when they’re finally alone she’s curt with him and leaves Marlon bemused when she makes an excuse and leaves early.

Amy arrives back in the village after skiving school and helps Victoria at work so they can go into town. She tells Victoria she can’t go back to her foster parents and urges Victoria to let her stay at the B&B.

Hazel assures Bob she set Viv straight but Viv surprises them both when she lies that she’s met someone.
