Monday 1st November 2010


Rhona is racked with guilt when Marlon delivers a huge bunch of flowers to the vets. Paddy refuses to talk about the kiss and urges her to stop messing his friend around. However, she can’t help her feelings and decides to call it a day. Marlon is left reeling when Rhona evades his questions about there being someone else.

Maisie decides to face the world and go back to work. Will is encouraged by his sister’s attitude and heads to school. However, Maisie snaps when she thinks people are talking about her and when she gets a call from Will’s school it’s all too much.

Eve is unimpressed when Chas is all over Carl after a passionate weekend. She coolly warns Carl he can’t have her until he’s dumped Chas. However she storms out when Carl won’t put a date on it.

Cain is irked by Charity’s new commitment to her work and is fuming when she turns up tipsy from her business lunch with Jai. Val and Pollard worry there are rats at the B&B whilst Victoria warns Amy she’ll have to be quieter in the cellar.


Tuesday 2nd November 2010

Eve’s uneasy when Chas asks her for a coffee. After Carl interrupts, Eve sounds off at how much hurt they are causing by keeping it from Chas and she has to be told. Later, defying his objections, Eve heads to Mill and it’s clear she’s building up to tell Chas the truth, but when Carl arrives home, he thwarts her plan. Furious at what Eve was about to do, Carl angrily warns her not to meddle in his life and she’s stunned when he cruelly tells her he’s changed his mind about them.

Marlon catches Rhona collecting her belongings from Tall Trees, he’s gutted when she admits she only ever loved him as a mate. At the vets, she tries to address the elephant in the room with Paddy but she’s upset at how mad he is at her for hurting Marlon. Feeling guilty about being Marlon’s shoulder to cry on, Paddy feigns ignorance when Marlon questions if he knows the reason Rhona dumped him.

Val is sure she’s heard noises again and when a door slams shut she’s convinced the B&B is haunted. Amy is amused at Val’s conclusion and decides to rile her further by making spooky noises.

John’s first time taking Holly to her methodone appointment passes without incident and he finally sees it helps her in a way he can’t.


Wednesday 3rd November 2010


Eve finally comes to terms with being Carl’s bit on the side and pounces on him back at Mill Cottage, determined to make up for lost time. After their moment in the sack, Carl’s thrown to see Chas pull up on the drive and bundles a half dressed Eve out the back door bluffing his way through an excuse for being at home.

Later, Chas ropes Charity into a night on the town and as she’s getting ready upstairs, Charity is bemused to find Chas’ bra. As Charity taunts Chas for being a hussy her face turns sour and it quickly becomes apparent the sexy item doesn’t belong to her…

Brazen Viv takes her anguish over Bob and Hazel’s friendship out on Amy & Victoria as they sit outside the café. She’s preoccupied in the café and when she comes back into the shop she’s stumped to find the till wide open and cash missing. Shaken by the burglary, Viv seeks comfort in former flame, Bob.

Rhona makes light humoured conversation with Paddy only to be mortified when they realise Marlon heard their jokes about the break up. Eager to ease his guilt, Paddy sets Rhona and Marlon up when he arranges to meet them both for coffee. However, Marlon is heartbroken and dismisses Rhona’s suggestion at remaining friends.

Val decides to research the history of the B&B – convinced it’s haunted and that it’ll be part of a money-making venture.


Thursday 4th November 2010

Chas is shell-shocked as the realisation that Carl must be having an affair sinks in. As she frantically waves the bra around shouting the odds to Charity, Chas notices the label in the bra means it was bought from the lingerie party the other night. Furious that Carl is cheating on her right under her nose, with one of her friends, Chas sets off on the warpath.

Despite being out for blood, Charity manages to persuade her to play clever. Hammering on the door of Victoria, Katie is perturbed to find Chas and Charity on the doorstep, adamant they want to purchase more underwear. As Chas flicks through the catalogue and picks out the one she found, Gennie confirms her worst fears and reveals that Eve bought that same set at the party. How will Charity seek revenge?

Bob is on hand to comfort a shaken Viv who is still upset about the robbery. Despite his best efforts Viv keeps playing the scenario over in her mind. Grateful for his support, Viv insists she’s okay and sends Bob and Hazel off to the pub. Minutes later, Viv arrives with the twins in tow admitting she’s scared of being alone and later ropes a reluctant Bob into walking her home. Is Viv using the robbery to get closer to Bob?

Val is engrossed in a book on local history as she tries to identify who her ghost could be. Miffed by the mysterious goings on, she’s worried when she heara voices from the cellar and as she follows the voices, she’s shocked to find Amy admitting her thieving to a stunned Victoria.

Adam reluctantly takes Holly to the clinic, and uses the opportunity to voice his disgust at his sister, who’s too weak to defend herself.

Livid, Chas admits she’d be hurt if she could see beyond blind fury and is determined to make Eve and Carl pay for their sordid deception. Sensing Chas’ anguish, Charity implores her to hold out and make Carl pay for his deceit – properly and literally – as they replace the bra where they found it.

Meanwhile, Eve tries to steal a moment with Carl but he insists they need to locate her missing bra first. Assuming the coast is clear, Carl is relieved to finally find the bra underneath the sofa but as he stuffs it into his pocket, he jumps as Chas suddenly appears from upstairs proclaiming she felt too ill to go out.

Adam insists on teaching his sister a life lesson and takes her to visit Jackson. She makes her excuses to use the loo, but reluctant to leave her alone Adam escorts her. Aaron takes the opportunity to confront Adam about using Jackon’s situation to give Holly perspective.

Meanwhile, Hazel is perplexed to have misplaced her painkillers. Not wanting to cause a scene, Adam drags Holly out of the room and lays into her for stealing right under his nose. Despite her denial, Adam refuses to believe her but Hazel appears proclaiming she’s found them! Holly’s downbeat that Adam didn’t believe her but he’s blunt in his response and admits he doesn’t trust her.

As the truth outs, Pollard insists Amy is to return to her foster placement, despite her request to stay and lend a hand at the B&B. Dismissing her pleas, Amy heads off insisting she’s not going back to her foster parents. With an unfamiliar maternal instinct kicking in, Val starts to wonder if there’s any truth in Amy’s claims the foster placement is unbearable.

Viv is enjoying Bob’s company but disappointed when he leaves in favour of finding out how Hazel is.


Friday 5th November 2010


Unable to sleep in the same bed as Carl, Chas spent the night on the sofa and hides her bitterness towards the man she once loved. Charity urges Chas to wait this one out and make them suffer. Later, as the village bonfire gets underway, Chas paints on a smile and watches Eve like a hawk, aghast at how easily Eve carries on as normal. Eve is furious to find toffee has been dumped in her hat and is now hardening in her hair.

With poor Jacob in the firing line for the commotion, Alicia jumps to her son’s defence and a row ensues. As Chas feigns concern it becomes clear Jacob isn’t the one responsible for the mishap and she takes great delight in watching Eve tug a comb through her hair. Chas clearly has a taste for revenge and next time promises no petty prank – she’s upping her game and Carl is next.

As Moira seeks normality for her family, she insists they all attend the village bonfire and rally round Holly for support. Holly takes advantage of the disregarded remnants of wine dotted around and it’s not long before it’s had an impact. Slurring her words to a concerned Adam, she begs him to score for her, making it clear that nothing else in the world matters to her.

Aaron fails to keep his composure as he’s shown the ropes on caring for Jackson.
