Hollyoaks - Christmas preview

Zoe's traumatic year takes a sinister turn on New Year's Eve as a deranged Lydia lures her to Sarah's graveside, intending to kill Zoe and herself. Charlotte discovers Lydia's warped plan and rallies Dave and Mike in a frantic race against time.

Hannah refuses to deal with her anorexia and convinces Darren that they should escape the constraints of the village together. Desperate to help his friend, Darren agrees. But he soon realises that the best way to help Hannah is to betray her trust and hand her back to her family. Finally admitting that her illness has returned, Hannah turns to her friends for support. However, the arrival of a familiar face creates new dilemmas and she is forced to make a life-changing decision.

Loretta is left shaken when she's visited by a ghost from her past. The unexpected arrival of old friend Chrissie forces Loretta to confront who she really is and question her life in the village. But will her departure from Hollyoaks at Christmas be permanent?

And Mercedes and Calvin continue with their illicit affair, unaware that Malachy has discovered their secret.
