Drink once whenever...
- There'a a kiss - drink double if it involves someone cheating.
- A character appears in their underwear or shirtless - drink double if it's for no logical reason.
- There's slow-motion.
- You spot someone in the opening titles who's no longer in the show.
- Someone throws up - drink double if it's onscreen and you see the sick.
- Text messages between characters appear onscreen.

Drink twice whenever...
- Anyone is naked.
- A character is re-cast with a new actor.
- There's a montage or fantasy sequence.
- A character randomly realises they might be bisexual.
- More than two of the adult parent characters are in the same episode.
- A character's brother/sister/cousin suddenly arrives, having never been mentioned before.
- The titles are updated.
- You realise that a character has disappeared for good without ever actually having a leaving storyline.

Down your drink if...
- There's a helpline ad during the end titles.
- Any character from the 1990s returns - drink again if the storyline's connected to Tony.
