The Butterfly Effect: Part 1
Tuesday 2nd March 2010

After a massive fight between Faye and Joseph, Joseph storms out of Holby and leaves Faye to be comforted by Linden. News reaches Holby that there is a hostage situation in the city and that victims will be brought into AAU. As Linden and Faye battle to save the victims, Linden can see Faye is upset and comforts her. The two kiss but when Faye finds Joseph's tie on one of the victims she thinks the worst. The doors of AAU fly open; it's Joseph. He is fine but Daisha has been shot.

Elliot wants to make it work with new consultant Toby Geddes but he finds Geddes so impossible that he explodes at him in theatre. Following the operation, Elliot questions Michael's role of director of surgery and writes his letter of resignation. Meanwhile, Penny and Oliver are desperately trying to impress Elliot and Linden by helping in the hostage emergency.


The Butterfly Effect: Part 2
Tuesday 9th March 2010

Joseph and Daisha find themselves in a shooting incident, and Joseph seems to hit self-destruct. Daisha helps Joseph do the right thing, but is then fatally wounded. Will Daisha survive this? The team struggle to deal with two major incidents. But when Michael discovers Vanessa blames him for the chaos, he is forced to make a decision - Vanessa must remove Toby Geddes, or they will lose Elliot and Jac. Ollie struggles to cope as Daisha's life hangs in the balance.


Faith No More
Tuesday 16th March 2010

Joseph realises something is going on between Faye and Linden, and he takes his anger out in a physical attack on Linden. Mark's loyalty is torn between Daisha and Judith, and he ends up losing them both. Chrissie is alarmed to find Sacha back at Holby; she finds him infuriating.


Tipping Point

Tuesday 23rd March 2010


When Daisha says goodbye, the last thing Mark wants to do is deal with a difficult shift. Mark soon realises his apathy has let down his team and patients and he decides that he needs to become a man of the people again. When Vanessa sends Maria home because of her back injury, Mark decides to pursue a compensation claim against the Trust on Maria's behalf.

Faye and Elliot realise that Joseph caused Linden's injuries. Joseph sets the record straight by announcing that Faye has left him for Linden. Linden has finally got what he wants but starts to doubt Faye and puts the brakes on their relationship. Meanwhile, on Darwin, Connie learns that first impressions are deceptive when Penny turns out to be a better F1 than Oliver.


Enemies Closer

Jac doesn't let on to the rest of the team that a new patient is her mother, Paula. Paula has returned to see Jac but has fallen ill. Jac breaks the news that she has kidney damage and will need a transplant.

Meanwhile, Oliver wants to win over Connie and Elliot after being late for a session. Oliver passes Penny's research off as his own, wins praise but gets his comeuppance when new nurse Roberta, having witnessed his treachery, tells him some home truths. Mark tries to win compensation for Maria, but when Vanessa tells her that her career might be in jeopardy as a result, she decides to withdraw her claim. Enraged by Vanessa's interference, Mark resigns.
