Jac sees reminders of Joseph and Faye's wedding everywhere and desperately tries to immerse herself in work, building a strong allegiance with Connie in the process, as the medical drama continues.
Martha, meanwhile, wants to support Ben through his tests with the ophthalmologist, but starts to panic as the scale of her commitment to him hits her. Elsewhere, Maria struggles to come to terms with Maddy's death but manages to write a speech for the memorial service, which Donna reads on her behalf.

It's the day of Faye and Joseph's wedding, in this week's episode of the medical drama, and Joseph wants the day to go smoothly. But the arrival of an old flame and the revelation that his brother, Harry, betrayed him with her, throws him off course.
Faye also discovers some ghosts from her past as her parents arrive for the wedding. Faye and her father don't get on. Jac, meanwhile, is struggling to get over Joseph, but the wedding is the talk of Holby and Jac takes her bad mood out on new interns Penny and Oliver. Filled with emotion, Faye later finds comfort with Linden and the pair share a kiss.

Elliott counsels Ben when he is told that he will become blind in a matter of months, as the medical drama continues. Newly married Faye, meanwhile, is feeling shaky following her kiss with Linden, but knows she is committed to Joseph.
In the aftermath of Maddy's murder, Ric is under pressure to prove his authority, but Jayne has lost faith in his leadership and tells him she is re-advertising his position.

Linden is tormented by his kiss with Faye, but decides to take his mind off it by taking Oliver under his wing, as the medical drama continues. Linden then sees Chrissie comforting Oliver after he loses a patient, provoking an outburst about work relationships being inappropriate.
Penny is frustrated that Oliver always seems to be better than her and shuns Daisha's help. She then realises how much the nurses can help. Elliot doesn't want to celebrate his birthday, despite Martha's encouragement, but he ends up enjoying his surprise party. Elliot's old friend, Tara Sodi, turns up – although he is not as pleased to see her as he first appears.

Anxious for information about the director of surgery job, Connie confronts Jayne about the advert, as the medical drama continues. Jayne, however, is preoccupied and she reveals to Connie that she suspects John of having an affair.
Meanwhile, Michael's day turns from bad to worse as he heads home to see one of his children being wheeled into an ambulance, with Ric comforting Annalese. A flustered Elliot receives a visit from old friend Tara. She wants to talk to Elliot about a project they worked on in the past. He avoids the subject and leaves to attend to a patient.
