Monday 15th March 2010
(Episode 2776)

Josh gets an earful from Ste, it's time he started pulling his weight around the flat. Josh is still angry at the world and storms out. His need to speak to India paramount, Josh becomes increasingly frustrated when she fails to respond to his text messages. Josh faces more antagonism when he clashes with Ste and Ravi in Relish, however, Anita surprises him with her views on the crash and an unlikely ally is forged. Tempers soon become frayed when Lauren appears and the atmosphere grows charged, leaving Ravi no other option than to kick Josh out. Seeking refuge in the SU, Josh comes face to face with Dave who’s surprised by how rough Josh is looking. Dave makes tentative steps to discover where Josh is staying, however, it's difficult as Josh is still furious for being ostracised from his friends. Dave eventually persuades him to go up to halls and Josh agrees, in the hope he may see India…

A guilt ridden Rhys is determined to track down Josh. With his calls rejected, Rhys heads out to search for his brother, unaware that Josh is heading into the pub and they just miss each other. Gilly attempts once more to break through to Josh about his drinking, but full of self loathing, Josh won't listen and leaves. Rhys runs into India, and although wracked with guilt, accepts her offer of lunch. As they grow closer, talk turns to Josh and the crash, and India confesses how difficult she's finding things. Appreciating Rhys is in the same position; her compassion fuels his guilt as he struggles to deal with his emotions. Rhys is torn - should he follow his heart, or back off in respect to his brother…? It all comes to a head when Josh walks in and sees Rhys and India about to kiss. Josh is appalled to see his brother and India so close and launches himself at Rhys…

Calvin is accosted by Josh, who's looking for a job. Calvin soon sends him packing; he's the last person he'd help after nearly killing his sister. In the village, Lauren and Gaz's snogging fest is brought to a halt when an annoyed Leo intervenes. Pushed into a corner, Gaz threatens Leo and tells him he has photographic evidence on his phone of the bruises he gave him and he's not scared to show the school if he has too. Immediately backing down at the threat to his job, Leo fades away, leaving a smug Gaz victorious. At his whit's end, Leo seeks out Calvin and confesses his fears about Lauren and Gaz's threat, but Calvin says he can't rule his sisters' lives anymore - he has to put Carmel first. However, catching up with Gaz, Calvin infuriates Lauren when he seizes his phone and smashes it. Calvin tells Leo it's time he started taking his parenting duties seriously…


Tuesday 16th March 2010
(Episode 2777)

Lauren's suspicious of Calvin’s attempts to make amends following his run in with Gaz yesterday. Calvin invites Lauren to help out at The Loft and she’s glad of the attention but disappointed when he lets her down, leaving her with Spencer. A bored Lauren calls Gaz and soon they’re up to no good, stealing Spencer’s bank card to buy random things online. When Spencer catches them mid shopping spree, they lie, saying they were only donating to help the save Holly campaign. Later, Lauren invites. Gaz back to the Valentines’ on a promise - they’re finally going to sleep together. Lauren and Gaz are still in bed when Calvin arrives home. Calvin's furious to find Lauren and Gaz semi naked in her bedroom and throws Gaz out.

The atmosphere's tense as Rhys and Josh come face to face after their fight. Rhys, who is still consumed with guilt over the part he played in the crash, agrees to forget about it. He's frustrated however when Josh makes another bad decision and announces that he is quitting college. Jem takes pity on Josh and they spend the day together. After a few drinks Josh becomes loose lipped, telling Jem details of Gilly’s past conquests. Meanwhile, Rhys works hard to keep his distance from India but it proves difficult as she's determined to win him over. Josh’s gossiping causes Jem and Gilly to have their first major row resulting in Jem removing her engagement ring. Gilly's fuming and makes it clear that Josh has lost one of his only allies.

Des continues to wind Nancy up about her love life, but this time she decides to get him back. Nancy reminds Des that the school is about to be visited by Ofsted inspectors and that he should be bringing his work up to scratch. After seeing Des panic, Nancy offers to help. As a thank you they share a takeaway and a bottle of wine and a friendship is forged. However, as Nancy lies in bed, Des enters and reveals a slightly peculiar nocturnal habit.


Wednesday 17th March 2010
(Episode 2778)

Lauren’s troubled after sleeping with Gaz and confides in Cheryl. Cheryl’s dying to hear all the gossip but quickly realises that it was probably Gaz’s first time and helps her try to figure out how to broach the subject with Gaz. The girls go for lunch in Relish and Lauren’s glad of the attention until Gilly arrives and Cheryl quickly casts her aside. Fed up, Lauren goes home in a mood and when Gaz bumps in to her and tries to be seductive, she blurts out that she knows she was his first. Gaz is upset at first but Lauren talks him around, she just wants them to be able to talk about things together. Lauren and Gaz sleep together again and bemoan the fact that everyone else is on their case. Gaz suggests they fleece Spencer of his cash and run away from Hollyoaks – just the two of them against the world.

Duncan gets the call he’s been waiting for from a TV producer. Duncan is hoping his upcoming sixteenth birthday party will be featured on a reality show. Keen to impress, Duncan asks Ricky to help him brainstorm ideas, but Ricky’s pre-occupied, keen to get back to his dad. Duncan’s on a high, almost ignoring Ricky as he tries to explain that his dad’s really ill. Finally Ricky snaps and goes home - he has far more important things to deal with. Duncan is keen to enlist Theresa, certain she will help win the TV producer round. Initially Theresa won’t give Duncan the time of day, but when she realises she might end up on telly, she’s immediately on board. The TV producer is taken by Theresa and Duncan as a duo, they will make TV gold. Duncan goes to tell Ricky the good news, but Ricky shows little enthusiasm for Duncan’s blossoming TV career and the boys fall out, leaving Ricky alone to cope with his Dad.

Jem’s nervous about seeing Gilly after their argument and is desperately trying to find her engagement ring after throwing it. Gilly realises the argument was ridiculous, it was all blown out of proportion and he wants to get their relationship back on track. However, when Jem finds Gilly and Cheryl in a comedy compromising position, a reconciliation is put on hold. Gilly tracks Jem down to explain, but Jem’s concerned their relationship isn’t working now they’re back from their travels. Gilly convinces Jem that they are meant to be together and he will do anything to make it work.

Nancy has to broach the delicate subject of Des urinating on her bed last night and it’s clear he doesn’t remember anything about it. When he mocks her for looking rough in the morning, Nancy takes offence and tells him exactly why she had no sleep. Des is mortified that his secret is out and explains his little problem - it only happens when he gets really stressed. Nancy can’t help winding him up - does Jacqui now about his ‘little problem?’ Des begs Nancy not to say anything but Jacqui is suspicious there’s something going on between her boyfriend and Nancy, especially when Des makes excuses not to stay over at her place.


Thursday 18th March 2010

Myra throws a house party after a big win on the bingo. Michaela returns from Disneyland to an annoyed Zac - she told him the party was fancy dress, but he’s the only one in costume. To add insult to injury she hasn’t brought him back a souvenir from her trip, however, Michaela wins him round - she has a much more special present for him. Malachy’s seething when he sees Calvin and Mercedes together in the bedroom. He pulls Calvin aside and closely watches his reaction as he tells him that he and Mercedes may still be starting a family. Jacqui’s in the mood for love, but her attitude quickly changes when Des panics about staying over and she accuses him of wanting to be with Nancy. As the drink flows, it’s far from harmonious in the McQqueens as the couples argue. Carmel feels humiliated after a party game goes wrong but she’s cheered when Calvin tells her how much he means to her. The Party is in full flow when the McQueens’ discover a letter from the council……

Duncan excitedly plans his birthday party for the reality TV show. Theresa invites Duncan over to the McQueens party in order to guarantee being his on screen date. Duncan is delighted but Darren tells him that Theresa is only using him; Duncan needs to make her really want him. Darren convinces Duncan he has all the skills needed to turn him in to the world’s most desirable man.

Sasha returns from Disneyland and is annoyed to find Lauren with Gaz after everything he’s done. Sasha catches Gaz with the PSP she brought back for Spencer and accuses him of stealing it, but Spencer tells her she’s made a mistake - Gaz was only teaching him how to play a new game. Realising she’s putting the same pressure on Lauren that her family did to her when she was with Warren, Sasha relents and lets Gaz and Lauren spend time together, as long as Gaz is out of the house before their dad gets home.


Friday 19th March 2010
(Episode 2780)

It's Josh's birthday and Ste's patience is wearing thin when he finds him hung-over on the sofa. Worried about the effect it's having on the kids, an angry Ste tells him it's time he sorted himself out. An angry Josh leaves the flat and heads to the Dog, where an anxious Rhys has to explain their parents won’t be around for his birthday. A resentful Josh starts drinking and before too long he turns nasty and the jibes start to flow. Gilly attempts to get to the bottom of Rhys and India's friendship, but Rhys evades answering his questions. A worried Amy tracks Josh down and encourages him to make amends with his family. Mistaking her concern for something more; Josh leans in for a kiss. Spurning his advances, Amy puts him straight, before sadly walking away. Josh apologises to Rhys and Gilly for his earlier tantrum, however, India's appearance heralds a return to his dark mood and Rhys' temper is fuelled by Josh's acerbic comments. Rhys is shocked when Josh makes a shock announcement that threatens the brothers' relationship for ever…

Leo's got a skip in his step and a twinkle in his eye after spending the night with Myra. Insisting it's time he started behaving like a good dad, he announces to Calvin he's cooking a family meal. Lauren has other ideas and upsets Sasha with her selfishness when she refuses to attend the meal if Gaz isn't invited. Gaz assures Lauren that if the family meal means that much to her, he’ll sweet talk Spencer in to getting him an invite. Leo's furious when Calvin tells him about finding Lauren and Gaz in bed together. But Calvin suggests his Dad needs to calm down, he doesn’t want to make the same mistake he did when Sasha got involved with Warren - it will only end up pushing Lauren and Gaz closer together. Calvin suggests they should kill the relationship with kindness. Leo agrees and takes great delight in watching a puce Gaz splutter his way through a very spicy family meal. Aware that Leo is playing dirty, Gaz continues to rile him until finally he gets turfed out. How much longer will the Valentines bow down to Lauren and Gaz's relationship…?

The McQueens are reeling as the compulsory purchase order news begins to sink in. As Jaqui, Mercedes and Michaela discuss the pros and cons to moving, they soon come round to the idea of moving to places of their own. Pulling out all the stops to save the house, Carmel is surprised when Myra suggests it might be God's will that she move out. Carmel won’t let her Mum give up that easy though and when the other sisters agree that they will be behind Myra whatever she decides, Myra starts to waver. Finally Myra decides she’s going to stay put - if the council want a fight, then that’s what they’ll get.
