Sasha's distraught to discover another girl has been attacked, fearing it's her attacker striking again. Realising there's something seriously up with his sister, Calvin eventually gets through to Sasha and she breaks down, confessing all. Cancelling his plans with Carmel, Calvin persuades Sasha to go to the police, promising to support her throughout. Feeling a weight's been lifted, Sasha and Calvin manage to enjoy an evening together, but how long will this closeness last?
Malachy’s fed up with all the McQueens seeing Calvin as the golden boy. In a bid to win favour, he concocts a plan to get some quick cash for the family, making the most of Mercedes’ ‘assets’. Returning with the cash needed for a solicitor, the pair are on a high - that is until they hear Calvin has already sorted it. Once again, a furious Malachy has been upstaged by Calvin - is this enough for him to reach boiling point?
Jake's still ignoring Loretta and Frankie's calls, settling into life with Caroline and Johnny. They reminisce about Jake's days in hospital, but for Jake the memories are hazy and unclear. Being with Caroline triggers some disturbing flashbacks for Jake, giving a chilling reminder of his time there. A flash of guilt over his family prompts Jake to call home but he can't find his phone anywhere. Jake's cut off from the outside world… exactly what Caroline wants.
Carmel's delighted with all the effort Calvin's making, truly believing he's a changed man. With the McQueens in crisis over the demands to move out of their house, Calvin once again steps in to save the day, promising to sort a solicitor. As Carmel arrives at the station for work, she's surprised to spot Calvin and immediately becomes suspicious when he cancels her call. Later quizzing him on where he's been, Carmel is left reeling when Calvin lies to her and is left wondering if his old ways are really behind him?

Caroline is overjoyed about Jake staying with her. However his mind is somewhere else. He desperately wants to make contact with home to reassure everyone he is ok, but with his phone having mysteriously disappeared he is completely cut off. Caroline reassures him that by lying low he is doing the right thing however it soon becomes apparent that she has an ulterior motive. Whilst Caroline is out Jake continues in his pursuit for his missing phone but ends up finding more that he bargained for. Caroline returns to find Jake has discovered her secret and decides to take matters into her own hands…
Whilst Michaela and Sasha babysit, Amy, determined to carve a better future for herself, heads to the HCC open day. Feeling like a fish out of water, Amy’s pleasantly surprised when she meets Olly, a current student promoting the law degree, and lands herself a date. Meanwhile Michaela spots the potential in looking after Leah and Lucas making them an essential part of her new plan to save the McQueens’ home.
Carmel can’t help but worry why Calvin was visiting the police station yesterday. Concerned that something is wrong, and still unable to forget about the part he played in Warren’s death, Carmel confides her fears in Mercedes. When Mercedes mocks Carmel for her tendency to overreact, Carmel explains that she has reason to doubt Calvin and reveals his secret. When Mercedes tries to reach out to Calvin one last time he confirms that it’s Carmel who he wants to be with. Mercedes leaves, a scorned woman, taking immediate action with revenge in mind…

Sasha's a wreck after Mercedes revealed Calvin left Warren to die in The Loft. She returns home to oust Calvin, branding him a murderer, but is left reeling when she realises Leo had known all along. Furious with Mercedes' maliciousness, Calvin is determined she'll pay, but his threats fall on deaf ears - Mercedes knows she has the upper hand and warns that she can ruin him in an instant. Calvin is crushed when Sasha and Lauren demand he moves out - the decision lies with Leo, is he prepared to turn his back on his son?
Amy and Olly have arranged their first date, but she still fears he's out of her league. Michaela is full of support for her friend and offers to babysit but it quickly becomes clear she’s up to her old tricks. Meeting Meriel from the Chester Herald, Michaela claims she’s a single mum of two, hoping to generate publicity to help keep their house. Meanwhile, Amy and Olly's date has been a success, but as they arrange their second, Michaela bursts in and swiftly returns the kids. A sheepish Amy can only watch on as it dawns on Olly that Leah and Lucas are hers - is their romance over before it's begun?
Despite a frosty start, Frankie and Loretta are beginning to unite over their hurt and worry for missing Jake. The pair are interrupted by the arrival of Caroline, who introduces herself as Jake's old nurse. She tries to convince them Jake was not fully recovered from his breakdown, but Loretta is instantly wary. She refuses to believe Caroline and, realising she's trying to turn Frankie against her, throws her out. As Caroline returns to a tied up and gagged Jake, the news he has a girlfriend at home may finally tip her over the edge…

As Jake is held prisoner by Caroline, Loretta is getting closer to discovering the truth about his disappearance. Jake believes that he can win Caroline around but underestimates her determination to keep him in her life. When Jake intends to make a run for it, Caroline is already one step ahead, spiking his drink. Caroline tells Jake that she has a plan that will keep them together. As Caroline goes to carry out her plan, Jake is powerless to stop her.
As Cindy and Tony drift apart they both find comfort in other people. Tony goes into work and finds a comforting presence in Theresa. Whilst Cindy takes comfort from Darren and alcohol in a bid to avoid what is really happening. Cindy tells Darren what a mistake Holly has been in her life and ponders what could have been if she had never had her. Tony and Theresa embark on a harmless flirtation but when it comes to Darren and Cindy, is it equally as harmless?
The consequences of Mercedes disclosing Calvin’s secret is taking its toll on Carmel and Calvin’s relationship. Calvin battles with Mercedes over what she has done, prompting Malachy to question them both. Malachy tries his best to rebuild his marriage, hiding his knowledge of Mercedes’ betrayal with Calvin. Carmel decides she can’t live with the consequences of Calvin’s secret and makes a major decision.

After managing to escape from Caroline’s prison, Jake goes in search of her. Realising that Holly is Caroline’s target, he rushes straight to the hospital. Finding Caroline with Holly, Jake tries his best to convince her not to do anything stupid. However his attempts to win her around are scuppered when Loretta enters. Caroline’s deadly intentions are turned on Loretta but will Jake be able to do enough to save her?
Carmel and Calvin deal with their break-up in different ways. As Calvin drowns his sorrows, Mercedes has to hide her feelings in order to console Carmel. Without intending to, Mercedes makes Carmel think twice about her decision to end things with Calvin. Meanwhile after finding a vulnerable Theresa outside The Loft, Calvin invites her in. After a few drinks, the pair find other ways to take their minds off their problems…
Lauren is angry when she texts Gaz saying ‘I love you’ and he doesn’t respond. When she discovers he has lied and finds him carrying a bracelet she’s convinced he’s seeing someone else. When he explains that the bracelet is for her she refuses to let her guard down. Lauren wants Gaz to tell her he loves her but will he be able to say it?
