Monday 26th April 2010
(Episode 2806)

As his wedding looms closer, Calvin invites Leo to The Loft for some wine tasting. Leo isn’t happy about the fact he has to lie to Sasha and Lauren about spending time with their estranged brother, Calvin. Calvin is on edge when Mercedes turns up for work and offers to help them pick the wine but he reluctantly accepts her help, believing she wants to put their affair behind them. Mercedes lets her true feelings be known when she gloats about lacing the wine, one glass with sleeping pills, the other with caffeine pills. Calvin’s horrified as Mercedes warns him that she will always be there to remind him what happened between them.

Lauren and Gaz attempt to educate Spencer about the rules of dating. As they talk him through the process, they suggest he should have a drink. Spencer hesitates, he doesn’t like alcohol but Gaz soon persuades him to give it a go. When Sasha returns home to find them all drunk on the sofa she is furious. Lauren tries to explain but Sasha refuses to listen. Devastated by Sasha’s reaction, Lauren goes along with Gaz’s plan to let Spencer believe that they slept together. As a heartbroken Lauren walks away, Gaz realises his joke has gone too far.

A guilt ridden Zak confesses all about his one night stand with Laura to Des and Kris. Hoping to get some clarity about how best to handle the situation, he is met with contrasting views. Des thinks he should confess all to Michaela, whereas Kris thinks it best to pretend it never happened. Zak tells them that Charlotte knows his secret and is urging him to confess. Des accompanies Zak to the McQueens’ persuading him that confessing all to Michaela is the right thing to do. Zak can’t bring himself to confess and continues to carry his guilt.

Josh is heartbroken when he realises that Rhys and India have been seeing each other. In an attempt to distract a love sick Josh, Jem invites him to the gym. Jem tells Rhys that Josh knows he is seeing India and reminds him that Josh is still not over her. Rhys decides to end things with India, breaking her heart and his. Josh realises that Rhys ended his relationship for him and is touched by his brother’s sacrifice.
 

Tuesday 27th April 2010
(Episode 2807)

When Spencer wakes hung-over and confused on the Valentines’ sofa, Lauren begins to regret her actions the night before. Ashamed of what she did Lauren goes to speak to Spencer who can barely look at her. Lauren wants to tell Spencer that they lied to him about sleeping with her; Gaz insists they have to stick to their story. Praying on Spencer’s vulnerability, Gaz tells Spencer that he will need to pay for Lauren to see a doctor. Unaware that he is being conned, Spencer hands over two hundred pounds. A victorious Gaz returns to Lauren with the money.

India is determined to get things back on track with Rhys but is mortified when she realises he is hiding from her. Determined to get over him she drags Dave and Charlotte on a night out. Dave tells Charlotte to stay out of Michaela and Zak’s relationship for the final time, resulting in an annoyed Charlotte storming off. Dave is left with a very drunk India. When India makes a pass at Dave he is shocked at the lengths she will go to, to get over Rhys.

Zak is on edge, fearing that Michaela will discover his infidelity. In an attempt to prove how much he loves her, Zak decides to buy her an engagement ring. Kris is wary about this, explaining that any overblown gestures could potentially reveal his betrayal, but Zak continues with his plan and invites Michaela to The Dog. As Zak prepares for his romantic proposal he is unaware of Charlotte’s dilemma. As Zak gets down on one knee, Michaela tells him that it is too late, she knows all about his infidelity.
 

Wednesday 28th April 2010
(Episode 2808)

Suzanne's resentful at Rhys and Josh's half hearted attempts at celebrating her birthday and takes matters into her own hands by inviting Darren to help her celebrate. As a flirty Suzanne dances the night away with Darren, a tipsy Josh and Rhys await her return. On her arrival home, Suzanne is furious to find Josh drunk and questions why Rhys let him get in to such a state. Rhys is ready for a fight and has no qualms in telling his mother exactly what he thinks of her antics. An angry Suzanne retaliates and slaps Rhys before he storms out, disgusted by his mother's behaviour.

A devastated Michaela refuses to speak to Zak until Jacqui intervenes and suggests she hears him out. As Zak begs for forgiveness, a broken hearted Michaela admits that she can never forgive him for his betrayal. Michaela sends Zak packing and he cuts a lonely figure contemplating his future without her. About to launch her engagement ring into the River Dee, Zak's seized with renewed hope and decides to fight for his girl…

India wakes with a cracking hangover, wondering what on earth her and Dave got up to the night before? Dave enjoys winding India up by telling her they had an amazing night together, leaving her mortified that she can't remember a thing! Sadly for Dave, the gag backfires when Charlotte tells him that India's so embarrassed by her behaviour that she's thinking of leaving Hollyoaks. Dave eventually admits that nothing happened, but India's piqued to discover that even though she was up for it, he turned her down…
 
A boring day for Anita and Theresa suddenly turns more interesting when a mystery man, Kyle, breaks down in the Village. After reading their horoscopes and serendipity is mentioned, Anita wonders if this stranger could be part of her future… However, dreams are soon dashed when Kyle, impressed by Theresa’s mechanical expertise, offers to take her out for a spin, leaving Anita behind. Although she feels a bad for her friend, it’s obvious that Theresa is more than a bit smitten with the new bad boy, Kyle…
   
 
Thursday 29th April 2010
(Episode 2809)

Josh, determined not to let his family fall apart, organises a birthday meal for Suzanne. With some meddling from Darren, an unsuspecting Neville returns early, with no idea he's missed Suzanne's birthday. The 'party' quickly descends into chaos with everyone's at each others throats. Taking Darren's advice, Neville tries to assert some authority over his family and is met with a right hook from Josh. It's the final straw for Neville, as he reports his own son to the police…

Theresa's on cloud nine after bagging herself a good looking, rich boyfriend. Jacqui, however, is immediately suspicious, and questions where Kyle is getting his cash from, much to the annoyance of Theresa. Unsatisfied with Kyle's answers, Jacqui is now certain he's up to no good. Will Jacqui expose Kyle as the dodgy bloke she thinks he is?

Zak is still refusing to attend Caleb's funeral. Despite being angry at him over hurting Michaela, Jacqui knows this is a huge mistake and persuades Des to talk to him. With Michaela still refusing to see him, Zak offloads his frustrations to Des. As a grief stricken Zak opens up, he soon realises that attending Caleb's funeral could be the best thing for him.
 

Friday 30th April 2010
(Episode 2810)

With everything going wrong with the wedding plans, a stressed Carmel decides she and Calvin should elope. Calvin soon realises it’s not what she really wants and promises her the wedding they’d planned with all their family and friends. Theresa’s smitten with Kyle and does her best to impress on their date. However, she’s horrified when Kyle impulsively beats someone up, just for looking at Theresa twice. Theresa’s soon sucked in by his lies but realises he’s not the man she thought he was when he threatens her.
 
Things have spiralled out of control in the Ashworth family, as Josh is charged with assaulting his Dad. Suzanne can’t believe Neville has let things get so far and tries to persuade him to tell the police there has been a misunderstanding. But Neville is determined to stick to his guns and teach Josh a lesson. Rhys is angry by Darren’s interference and as a family row escalates, Neville comes close to lashing out at Josh and Darren finds himself with a new lodger… as Josh moves in.

Zak feels lost without Michaela and is shocked when she announces she wants to go with him to his brother’s funeral. Zak’s delighted, assuming this means they’re getting back together. But Michaela hasn’t forgiven him for being unfaithful, she’ll go to the funeral because she still cares about him but she has no intention of taking him back. Zak’s frustrated that Michaela will only support him as a friend and nothing else, but feeling alone and needing her support, he’ll take anything she’s willing to offer…
