Monday 12th July 2010

Steph wakes and is confused to find herself at Loretta’s B&B and panics – Loretta promised she’d drive Steph home and the Osbornes will be worried sick. Loretta is in no hurry to let Steph go and insists on a little chat. Steph is suspicious, but Loretta is adamant that she did not lie about having cancer and that Jake is losing his mind. Steph realises that she only has Jake’s word for all the crazy things Loretta’s supposedly done. Sensing she needs to work harder to get Steph on side, Loretta tells her a monstrous secret about her damaged past.
Suzanne wakes up in Darren’s flat, ashamed they had sex the night before - she swore she’d never sleep with him again. Darren tries to convince her he’s a good bet but when he finds out Cheryl won on a fortune, Darren makes a play for her. Suzanne catches him in the act and realises she’s made a terrible mistake.
Pregnant Theresa jumps out of her skin when edgy Kyle tracks her down. He wants to know why she’s lying to everyone that the baby is his – what’s she trying to hide?
Cheryl wakes up and finds herself snuggled into Charlotte and assumes something went on. Charlotte delights in rubbing Cheryl’s nose in the fact that she may have turned gay!

Jacqui and Theresa try to convince Myra that Kyle was causing trouble because he’s in denial about being a dad. As Carmel bemoans what a good dad Calvin would’ve made, Malachy threatens to teach Kyle a lesson. But when he stops to think about it, Mal is confused that Kyle’s denying being the baby’s father so adamantly – it makes no sense. With Mal asking too many questions, the pressure is mounting and Theresa decides to tell Myra the truth…
Josh is over the moon to get a job interview to work in a record shop, but his happiness is short-lived. They ask Josh about the gap on his CV and he’s forced to admit that he’s been inside. He fails to get the job. Josh admits to a guilty Rhys that his life has been ruined and it’s all because he drove over the limit. Rhys tries to buoy his brother, but when Suzanne and Neville decide that the Ashworths need a fresh start, there’s some bad news for Josh.
Elsewhere, Cheryl denies the hot rumours that she’s a lesbian, while Steph struggles to deal with Loretta’s insistent news that Jake is going mad.

Josh is stunned that the Ashworths’ plan to move to Spain without him…today! Duncan however is desperate not to go – Hollyoaks is full of babes. Despite his heartache, Josh thanks Rhys for always being there for him – throughout the drink driving debacle, Rhys has been a rock. Josh puts on a brave face while Rhys tries to get Neville to change his mind and bring Josh to Spain too. Rhys is stunned to learn that Neville blames Josh for all the family’s troubles. Outraged at Neville, Rhys finally comes clean – it was Rhys that spiked Josh’s drink. Will Rhys be able to make it up to his family before they head off for Spain?
The Valentines prepare for Calvin’s funeral. Lauren and Sasha struggle to grieve, until Leo points out that their brother Calvin brought them up. It looks as if the family will pull together, until Sasha finds out what Lauren and Gaz have been lying to Spencer about. An argument ensues between Sasha and Lauren, causing Lauren to have a very serious accident…

Anita is angry with Theresa. She knows she saw a gun in Evissa, no matter what anyone says. Theresa guiltily tries to make things up to Anita, hopeful they can be friends again. No sooner is Theresa’s back turned, when Kyle grabs Anita – he wants to know who got Theresa pregnant and he will hurt Anita unless she tells. Frightened, Anita lets slip something that pricks Kyle’s interest. Kyle muscles into Theresa’s house and demands she tell him the truth.
Lauren wakes in hospital with Leo by her bedside. She reaches for his hand, but Leo doesn’t respond. Leo hopes that Gaz forced Lauren to lie to Spencer. He’s sickened that they convinced Spencer she was having his baby. Disgusted by her little sister, Sasha refuses to visit Lauren. Leo tries to pull his fractured family together but gets terrible news about Lauren’s health.
Tony is convinced that he will have an amicable divorce from Cindy. Dom notes how quick she was to go back to Darren. Tony is hurt but sticks to his guns – it needn’t get nasty. Dom thinks Tony is living in cloud cuckoo land and refuses to let him be taken for a mug.
Flushed with scratchcard fortune, Cheryl thinks Jack is after her. Keen to escape him, she has a brilliant idea about how to spend her cash and make the most of her assets.
Friday 16th July 2010

It’s the day of Calvin’s funeral and Carmel refuses to let Mercedes attend. Mercedes objects – if she stays away tongues will wag. As Mercedes puts on the hard act to cover up her upset over Calvin, Myra is outraged – Mercedes is burying her sister’s husband, where’s her respect? With Calvin buried, Mercedes tries to make things up to an embittered Malachy. Malachy wants a fresh start far from Hollyoaks, so issues Mercedes with an ultimatum.
Carmel visits Lauren in hospital. She finds Sasha panicking that Lauren may die. Carmel visits Lauren in hospital. but only so she can tell people the vile truth about her lying murdering brother. Carmel is stung by her coldness and heads off to the funeral with Sasha and Leo. Though she’s desperately ill, Lauren is determined to see her brother buried and to have the last word.
Theresa is terrified - she’s told Kyle that she shot Calvin with Kyle’s gun. Kyle calls Theresa to tell her to meet him, Jacqui insists she’ll come along. Myra sees Theresa get into Kyle’s car and dials 999. Armed police pluck Kyle from the car. Theresa heads for the funeral praying that Kyle will keep his mouth shut, but when she gets to Calvin’s wake, she gets some shocking news.
Cheryl sashays into The Dog, certain she’ll soon buy the place and see her name over the door. And Rhys gets a visitor who threatens to eat Rhys out of house and home.
