Monday 16th August 2010
(Episode 2886)

Tony gets the shock of his life when Gabby turns up in Il Gnosh. As she begins to pour her heart out, they’re both struck by an unmistakeable spark between them. Brendan corners Ste to blackmail him out of speaking to the press with the promise of a job but serves him with a serious threat to ensure he won’t be talking to the police. When Ste offers a clearly rehearsed explanation for the ‘accident’ and names Brendan as hero of the hour, Michaela is put out that she’s not got a scoop and dismisses Cheryl’s angling for a piece on the opening of Chez Chez.

Meanwhile, Malachy and Lynsey are brought closer together over their frustration that Brendan’s got away scot-free yet again. Carl tries to apologise to an unforgiving Jem for his treatment of Liam in the past. Carl agrees to be a good father and let both Jem and Jasmine live their own lives.

Elsewhere, Ravi and Eva bicker and wind each other up about their love lives. After Ravi tries and fails to coax Jem on a night out with him, Ravi and Eva find themselves in bed together.


Tuesday 17th August 2010
(Episode 2887)

As Eva jokes with Ravi about their secret tryst, he makes it clear that Anita mustn’t find out. Eva takes Anita out for a day of shopping and the two indulge in some friendly mother-daughter banter, but Eva takes it one step too far and spills the beans on her and Ravi. Tony is delighted to see Gabby back at Il Gnosh again. Theresa walks in to spot them holding hands as they talk and further encourages Tony to go for it. Gabby tells Tony that she’s going to leave Phil and asks Tony to help her pack up but just as the two are about to leave they hear a key turning at the front door.

Steph anxiously arrives at the hospital for another round of chemotherapy. She bumps into Louis and they enjoy some bonding time, Steph asks Louis to film her wedding and reveals that she wants to make a video about her plight.

Elsewhere, Heidi turns up to view the SU bar as a possible venue for the charity fashion show and tries to enlist Mitzeee, who declines in favour of another modelling job. She later receives a call with the news that she didn’t get the gig, but lies to Heidi that she’s turned it down for her fashion show.


Wednesday 18th August 2010
(Episode 2888)

Tony and Gabby panic as Phil’s at the front door, demanding to be let in. Tony hides as Gabby opens the door to a confused Phil and wastes no time in revealing that she’s leaving him. Anita comes home to learn the news that Jem’s moved out, but Ravi won’t admit the reason why.

Eva apologises to Anita for her behaviour and tells her that she wants to make amends. With Anita reassured that it was a one off, never to be repeated, Ravi and Eva reflect on their fling and it’s clear there’s still a spark between them. Heidi and Mitzeee come to blows with Cindy as they check out outfits for the fashion show at Cincerity.

Heidi suggests they incorporate a style challenge where Cindy’s vintage gear is put up against the high street fashion. As a chuffed Cindy promises not to let them down, Heidi and Mitzeee enjoy having the upper hand. Tom confides that he’s tired of Steph being tied up with the wedding and with Louis and Steph promises to put that all aside in favour of some family fun.


Thursday 19th August 2010
(Episode 2889)

Sick of being at Tony’s, Amber has arranged to be taken home by her dad. She tells Taylor to be at the park by 11.30. As they wait for a late Phil, doubts start to fill Amber’s head. Anita is still freaked out by the fact her brother and mum slept together. Sensing her discomfort, Eva decides to try to be a ‘better’ mum and offers to cook dinner for Anita and Ravi - a first for Eva.

Meanwhile, Steph enthusiastically gets to work on her film with Louis. He’s not sure about her big ideas but goes along with it. When he takes time out for a lie-down, she sneaks a peak at the DVD of his film and is moved to tears by it as a more vulnerable side to Louis is revealed.

Leaving Heidi to attend to fashion show business, Mitzeee slyly goes to see Carl. Her attempts at seduction once again fail, she warns him he won’t get away with this. Mitzeee’s quick on the phone to the Chester Herald…but what’s she up to?


Friday 20th August 2010
(Episode 2890)

It’s the day of the charity catwalk showdown! Cindy’s brimming with confidence that her Vintage collection will win, while Heidi’s equally confident that her high street style will sweep the boards. Heidi makes Rob strut his stuff down the runway in his boxers which makes the crowd go wild and she’s declared the winner.

Desperate for revenge, Mitzeee lures Carl backstage and tries to seduce him. Unbeknownst to him, Michaela is waiting in the wings, camera at the ready. When Carl refuses her advances yet again, Mitzeee spills her darkest secret backstage to an unwitting Theresa and the high-tech headset picks up everything, broadcasting it loud and clear to everyone in the room. Michaela gets her scoop and Mitzeee gets her sweet revenge.

Gabby spots a pair of must-have shoes in Cincerity which Cindy promises her, if she can wait until after the fashion show. The two get chatting and strike up a rapport. Trying to be a ‘good’ mother, Eva presents Anita with a dress from Cincerity – what she doesn’t tell her is that she stole it!
