Monday 15th March 2010
(Episode 5026)

Mink has decided to leave the Bay and tells Romeo she's taking off tomorrow. She wants to bury all their ill will and have a nice last day together and Romeo agrees. At the going away dinner, Mink knows they're all glad to see her go, and she can't blame them. Mink wants Romeo to come with her, but he wants to stay in the Bay. This upsets Mink, she wishes she was more important to Romeo – she wonders why he never visited her in juvey. Romeo admits he should've been the one to go to prison, not her, but Mink thinks he's wrong. If he had gone, he never would've survived. It was better this way. But it's left Mink tortured and very messed up, something that breaks Romeo's heart.

Nicole is working overtime on her design class – she's putting everything she has into it, and Aden's being really supportive, even though it means he doesn't get to see her as much. When they do, all she can talk about is the course, and it worries Aden she might be going a bit overboard. He doesn't want to see her crushed if it doesn't go the way she wants. When she meets the designer, Britt, and submits her design, Britt is impressed, and gives Nicole top marks, which makes Nicole's day. Then Britt offers Nicole an internship, which concerns Aden – he thinks it might be too much. But Nicole assures him she can handle it, and she accepts. She's completely thrilled by this amazing opportunity.

Miles tells Elijah that Leah can't make it to their self defence class, but he's only able to offer a weak excuse. Leah is distracted by her feelings for Elijah, unable to focus at work, not sure of what she should do about them. Miles encourages her to be honest with Elijah, but Leah isn't sure whether she can do that. She's too nervous around him to be honest, and when Elijah asks Miles if Leah's okay, he balks. He tells Leah later that she needs to be honest – he doesn't want to keep lying to Elijah. Leah arrives for her lesson, but again chickens out on telling Elijah the truth. But Miles arrives later and assumes she has, and he inadvertently tells Elijah that Leah has feelings for him.

Tuesday 16th March 2010
(Episode 5027)

After Miles has told him about Leah's feelings for him, Elijah doesn't know what to do. Miles can't admit to Leah what he's done, and feels terrible every time he's around her. Feeling down over his constant ability to make things worse, Miles is buoyed by Rabbit, but it doesn't last. He goes to Elijah for help – should he just tell Leah the truth? After some consideration, Elijah tells him that it might be best for Leah if she doesn't know – she doesn't need more drama, it might undo the progress she's made. But when Leah and Elijah are forced to pair up in the group self-defence class that night, both realize they may not be able to avoid each other easily.

Since selling the rest of the Gym to John, Tony is having little luck with the search for a new job. Rachel is still upset with him over his decision to sell without consulting her. Tony tells Gina he wants to do something that matters, but he's not even sure what that is. Preparing for an interview for a labouring job, Rachel and Tony argue – she wants him to do something more, she thinks he can do better. He knows he can, all he's trying to do is provide for the family. The interview doesn't go well, but afterwards Miles mentions that the PE teacher's job is still open at the school – he should ask Gina about it. Tony goes to Gina and asks to put his application in. She's hesitant – things didn't end so well the last time they worked together – but both are willing to give it another shot.

Xavier is a bit down after Mink's decision to leave town, given what he's learnt about why she is the way she is. Cornered by Gina, he's unable to stop himself from spilling the truth to her about Mink. When Mink finds him acting strangely later, she realizes he's told Ruby and she's angry – telling him to keep his mouth shut. Gina runs into her on the beach, and Mink realizes that Xavier has told her as well. She angrily confronts him about spilling her secrets – he's got no right to do that – she gets quite emotional, which surprises Xavier and Ruby. Gina talks to Mink that night and lays out the truth – she knows Mink better than Mink knows herself and she's worried about where it's leading her. They talk about Mink's history and Gina gets through to her. Mink breaks down in Gina's arms.

Wednesday 17th March 2010
(Episode 5028)

Mink is shocked at how well Gina knows her, a side of her she has tried to keep hidden from the world. She opens up to Gina, confessing that she doesn't like the way she is and wishes she could change it. After the talk she decides to shed her “old self”. She goes and sees Romeo, but she just hugs him, with no need to say anything. She says her goodbyes to the people in the Bay, Gina reminds her to take care of herself – Mink will never forget what Gina did for her. She tells Romeo she needs some time to herself, but she'll be back – he'd better keep himself in line or else. And Mink heads off to her new life, finally taking steps in the right direction.

Romeo is left saddened by Mink's departure, but he's able to shed it when he sees Annie has arrived back in the Bay. They catch up – both having missed each other, but not sure how to act around the other...but it's clear there's still romance in the air between them. She tells him she's back for a 6 week visit – he has that long to convince her to stay for good. Romeo is left challenged – will he be able to convince Annie to stay?

Charlie and Angelo are missing each other since their break up, and things are awkward between them, but neither will make a move. Romeo encourages Angelo to do something out of the ordinary to get Charlie back, but Angelo has no idea what that would be. He tells Angelo to be direct – at least that way she knows where he stands and she can decide for herself. Spurred by Romeo's encouragement, Angelo goes over to Charlies' and kisses her.

Nicole's obsession with her designs is becoming a turn-on for Aden – he likes how she's taken control of her life and her future. She finds it strange but he just wants her to be happy. He confesses that he wants her to achieve her dreams – the one thing that Belle didn't get to do.

Thursday 18th March 2010
(Episode 5029)

Charlie is thrown after the kiss with Angelo – she isn't sure what to do, or how to act. Ruby thinks Charlie should give it another go, but Charlie isn't so sure – the reasons they broke up haven't changed – she's still unable to commit. But Angelo, happy about the kiss and willing to take whatever he can get, gives her a way out, offering instead to start just as friends and to go from there. Charlie is amiable to that, and they hang out – it's relaxed and comfortable and there's a chance it might actually work. But she wants to take it slow and not rush and Angelo is okay with that.

Liam is surprised when Martha tells him they're just housemates and nothing more. He thought they were moving toward something more than that and her attitude annoys him. He's cold with her and she calls him on it – what's wrong with him? She knows she must've done something wrong, and wants to make it okay. She apologizes and offers him a lift home. On the way, she pulls over and they have sex in the car. But when they arrive home, Martha is once again cold, and Liam has had enough. He doesn't like the way she's treating him and right now their “situation” isn't working for him at all.

The only thing on Annie's mind since returning to the Bay is Romeo, and as much as she tries, she can't avoid talking about him. He's all she's thought about while in Japan, and she wants to know if he feels the same way. But she's disappointed when he doesn't come to school, and Ruby's explanations don't help her – she wanted to see him. Annie is left worried – maybe Romeo doesn't miss her as badly as she missed him. Ruby tells her not to worry, but Annie confesses that this is a big deal for her – she thinks she's in love with Romeo.

Friday 19th March 2010
(Episode 5030)

Leah is still struggling with her feelings for Elijah – he's being nice to her and she can't handle it. Rachel wonders if Elijah feels the same way about Leah, but Leah assures her this isn't the case. They're still comfortable around each other, but it turns out it's only a cover - Elijah isn't handling it well at all. He swaps partners with her in the next class, unable to be close to her now. He struggles with his feelings, eventually admitting to Miles that he's realized he has feelings for Leah as well.

Martha is thrown after Liam has had a go at her for how she's been treating him. He's cold with her and nothing she says gets through to him. She's left examining how she's been acting and worries she's made a mess of their relationship. But Liam doesn't want to talk about it, and Martha is left to ponder the situation by herself. When Tony sees her down, he assumes it's Liam's fault and has a dig at him. Liam is angered by this, and tells Tony to mind his own business. Martha admits later that she hasn't been treating him well and Liam thinks she needs to decide what it is she wants.

Tony is preparing for his first day as a schoolteacher, but he's very nervous – it's been years since he's taught and he doesn't want to screw up. But in his first class he's the subject of a practical joke, and he's left feeling like he's out of his depth. Miles gives him a pep talk – he needs to show the kids who's boss. He returns to the class and turns the tables on the practical joker, finally settling in as a teacher. Once back home, he tells Rachel about the issues with Gina – it all goes back to a lemonade stand they had when they were nine. And they've never managed to get over it.
