Monday 1st November 2010
Bianca’s ex fiancée, Prince Vittorio has arrived in the Bay. Much to Bianca’s surprise he is there to win her over. With Bianca about to head out to have dinner with Liam, she calls him, telling him she’s sick and can’t meet up with him. Liam is overly caring when he finds out about Bianca’s apparent illness, which makes her feel even more guilty for lying.
Bianca tells Vittorio that he broke her heart and Vittorio apologises for cheating on her – he wants another chance and asks Bianca out for dinner. She agrees and before she knows it, she’s caught up in the moment and suddenly they’re kissing – with Liam secretly looking on.
Indi reveals to Sid that her and Romeo broke up. Romeo confides in Nicole - he can’t say he loves Indi even though she could say it to him, and for Romeo that means they probably shouldn’t be together. Nicole thinks that perhaps Romeo is comparing Indi to Annie and he should give his current relationship more of a chance.
Marilyn is struggling with the fact that Sid wants Mitzy out of her life. Sid doesn’t feel that Marilyn should believe Mitzy and her prediction about Marilyn’s end date – and neither does Alf. But Marilyn is more upset that Sid promised he would tolerate Mitzy’s beliefs and hasn’t. Sid soon approaches Mitzty, telling her to stop ruining Marilyn’s life with her predictions. Even though Marilyn is upset at him, they soon make up and agree to simply disagree and to not discuss the subject of Mitzy and her predictions again.
Tuesday 2nd November 2010
After her passionate kiss with Vittorio, Bianca is shocked that Liam has witnessed the whole thing. Liam is angry and hurt that Bianca felt the need to lie to him about Vittorio showing up. Bianca also made it seem as though Liam and her were close but then she goes and kisses her ex.
Bianca isn’t sure what feels worse, the fact she kissed Vittorio or the fact she broke Liam’s heart in the process. And Bianca is still unsure if she can trust Vittorio again. During all the chaos, Liam makes a snap decision to leave his job and Summer Bay. Bianca goes to stop him but she’s too late.
Gina wants John to tell April and Xavier that he knows they mislead him over the hybrid bus service. John isn’t ready to let them off the hook just yet, but for Gina’s sake he agrees to tell the kids the next day. Plus John is starting to feel guilty about lying to Xavier especially when Xavier wants to make things work at home with John and Gina. When Xavier and April accidently find out that John’s been lying, Xavier is deeply hurt and mostly because he felt that he and John were becoming friends.
Indi continues to be upset over her break up with Romeo and nothing Dex says is cheering her up. With Liam leaving town, it gives Romeo momentum to be more clear about how he feels towards Indi. He goes to see her and apologises for their argument and is finally able to tell her that he loves her too.
John does try to explain to Xavier that he was late in having the talk but Xavier does not want to listen. Just as Xavier is walking away John falls to the ground with a heart attack, Xavier does not see this and continues on his way while John is lying lifeless on the ground next to the car.
Wednesday 3rd November 2010
After his disagreement with Xavier, John has had a heart attack, after some time alone Penn is passing by and gives him CPR and calls the ambulance, John is rushed to hospital.
Meanwhile Paulie is calling everyone he knows, asking for money to get himself out of debt. Charlie thinks the best thing Angelo can do is to call his parents and tell them about Paulie. Angelo decides Charlie’s right and he makes the call to his parents and Paulie is furious at Angelo for intervening.
Ruby has just got out of rehab and now has to deal with telling people all the details. Ruby is shocked and saddened to discover that Liam has left town and no one knows when he’ll be back. Fortunately Xavier seems to be the one she can rely on and helps her through her first day back at school.
Penn continues to blackmail Alf, saying that he’ll tell the whole town about Alf’s affair with Penn’s mum if Alf decides to dob Penn in for breaking and entering.
Gina is also going through a sad time trying to be besides John as much as possible, she visits him once again and tells him that she wants to be there for him and that she loves him, John reciprocates.
Thursday 4th November 2010
Paulie is still furious at Angelo for contacting their parents and telling them about Paulie’s debt. Angelo is simply trying to teach him a lesson - he can’t continue to throw money around. Charlie tells Paulie that Angelo wants him to take some responsibility for not only the restaurant fire but also for his own financial future. Some good comes out of Angelo’s meddling as his parents soon offer to pay Paulie’s debt.
With their constant fighting continuing, Charlie decides to intervene as she gets Angelo and Paulie in a room talking. They soon make up with both of them realising their own mistakes and deciding that family comes first. Paulie has finally got what he came to Summer Bay for – his family back.
Leah is preparing to head off to Africa with VJ to see Elijah but she’s worried the trip will be for nothing. She wonders whether she should continue to make plans about commuting back and forth or if she’s jinxing it by thinking about it too much. But when Miles questions Leah as to how Elijah thinks it will all work, he can see her hesitance and Leah comes clean – she hasn’t actually spoken to Elijah about the details of commuting. Leah soon decides to call Elijah and she is relieved to hear that he’s been thinking the exact same thing.
Marilyn is suddenly curious when Mitzy feels sick after a meal at the diner. She can sense that Mitzy isn’t being completely honest with her and Marilyn’s concerns are right as Mitzy reveals she has inoperable lung cancer.
Friday 5th November 2010
Marilyn is reeling from the fact that Mitzy doesn’t have long to live. Mitzy then tells Dex she has cancer and he too is shocked. Marilyn rushes to Sid’s side, teary over Mitzy’s condition. Sid thinks that perhaps Mitzy’s condition was the reason she spontaneously kissed Dex.
Sid also wonders if Mitzy told Marilyn her end date so that Mitzy had someone else to experience an end date with. Marilyn is furious at his assumption and Sid tries to apologise over the phone – but as she just listens and does not answer him, we’re wondering if she will ever forgive Sid.
While walking home Dex and Mitzy are getting alone fine when suddenly Mitzy collapses falling to the ground, all Dex can do is ring the ambulance.
Penn had been watching as Miles and Marilyn talk on the beach. During this he is talking to himself and in doing so, Penn mentions that he’s going to ‘get Marilyn’ and it’s clear he has a plan – but what is it? When Penn calls in to the restaurant he is once again being threatening to Alf and Miles warns Penn to ‘stay away’ from Alf but Penn assures Miles he’s not going anywhere.
