Sid breaks the news that Mitzy has an inoperable brain tumour and may only have weeks to live. Mitzy is struggling with the news, but Marilyn comforts her, promising to be with her friend until the end.
Sid confronts Mitzy, convinced that she made up Marilyn’s ‘end date’ just so she had someone to go through her own cancer with. He asks Mitzy to come clean and free Marilyn from the ‘curse’ she’s placed her under. Mitzy is furious about the accusation and asks Marilyn to take her home, she doesn’t want to be anywhere near the hospital. Clearly Mitzy is agitated and Marilyn is concerned – what has happened to upset her friend?
Bianca is confused about her feelings for Vittorio. She is attracted to him but just can’t forget the fact he cheated on her. Now he’s in the Bay, wanting to spend time with her, she doesn’t know what to do. When Vittorio asks her out for dinner, Bianca tells him she can’t make it – she has school work to do. Later, Vittorio finds Bianca at the Diner and she has no choice but to join him. They talk and she explains she’s trying to move on, but then she looks into his eyes and sees possibility. They are swamped by the paparazzi, another factor that has been upsetting Bianca. Vittorio tells her not to worry, he’ll fix the paps.
Meanwhile, Irene tells Bianca that maybe Vittorio’s still following her around because she’s never officially ended things with him. Bianca is given food for thought, but later, when she stumbles upon Vittorio giving a press conference about why he’s in the Bay, her heart melts and she’s confused once again. Things are going well and it seems the couple may be getting back together, until Alf mentions Liam Murphy. Vittorio is confused and insists Bianca tell him about herself and this Murphy.
Indi and Romeo are having a great time with one another. But when Romeo’s presence at the Diner starts to interfere with Indi’s work there, Irene and Colleen are none too pleased. Romeo is put to work in the kitchen to make up for all the distraction he’s been causing, but far from being upset at his punishment, Romeo couldn’t be happier. This way he gets to spend more time with Indi and for Romeo, nothing could be better.
Dex is still pinning over Marilyn. Indi and Romeo suggest he find someone else, someone who actually loves him. Dex heads to a pet store where he falls for a fish. He names her Marilyn and it looks like this could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

After being confronted by Vittorio about her relationship with Liam, Bianca is defensive, telling Vittorio that it’s none of his business what she was doing after he cheated on her. Bianca confronts Alf, angry at him for inadvertently stirring up trouble when he mentioned Liam’s name, but she’s just as angry at herself as she grapples with feelings for both men.
Later, Bianca openly talks to Vittorio about her relationship with Liam, explaining that she does indeed have feelings for him. But after he took off at the first sign of trouble, Bianca feels she can’t mean that much to him. On the contrary, Vittorio thinks it means Liam’s feelings for her run very deep and again, Bianca is left to consider this. Feeling closer to Vittorio than she has in days, the two share a kiss and Bianca asks to go back to his hotel room.
Penn arrives at Summer Bay House, ready to stir up some trouble with Miles. He tells Miles that he struggles everyday, not to hurt the people closest to Alf in order to show Alf how much pain he’s caused him. Miles is spooked and tells Romeo and Indi to say away from Penn and to call for help if he ever approaches them. Miles heads to the Diner to get some advice from Leah and Irene – they think Miles needs to involve the Police, but Miles feels that needs to be Alf’s decision. Miles goes to see Alf and they discuss their options, but Alf still feels involving the Police will do more harm than good. Irene tries yet again to change his mind and Alf is left with a tough decision.
Indi is worried about Romeo’s feelings for her. One minute he’s hot, the next he’s cold – she doesn’t feel secure in the relationship. But Romeo relents and tells her he does want to share…they share a kiss and it’s clear he’s asking her to sleep with him. She agrees and the two head to his bedroom, but their bliss is short lived.
Moments later, Indi flees the house in tears and Romeo is clearly very confused. He tells Miles that Indi suddenly burst into tears for no reason – does Miles have any idea why that would have happened? Miles doesn’t and tells Romeo he’ll need to talk to Indi. Romeo tries calling, but Indi ignores her ringing phone. Romeo is left with no answers. How did their perfect night turn into this?

Alf is furious when he finds out Miles went behind his back to make the report, but Miles explains he’s got the kids safety to think about. It looks like all Charlie can do is keep an eye on Penn...for now.

John tells Xavier he won’t ask for Gina’s hand in marriage until he’s got Xavier’s blessing. Xavier is confused and Gina smells a rat when she catches the two talking secretively. John tells Alf of his plan and he’s surprised John wants Xavier’s blessing – he’s not John’s biggest fan. John explains that’s the problem. He can’t take any stress at the moment, he doesn’t want another heart attack so if Xavier doesn’t agree, there’ll be no proposal, it would just be too hard.
Unsure of what to do, Xavier consults April who asks if Xavier knew Gina loved John would he give them his blessing – Xavier says he would, but how does he know if she does? April comes up with a list of questions she thinks will give Xavier his answer. Manned with this information, Xavier is preparing to ask Gina the questions when he suddenly senses the depth of her love for John. Will this be enough for him to give them his blessing?
Mitzy begs Marilyn to reconcile with Sid. It doesn’t matter about his accusations, what matters is Marilyn is happy in her relationship. But Marilyn isn’t – not if Sid is going to be so cruel and sceptical. She can’t forgive that kind of behaviour. Meanwhile, Sid has confided his relationship woes in Nicole, who thinks he should be more understanding of Marilyn and her belief system – especially given Mitzy’s condition. But all Sid’s instincts are telling him to get Mitzy out of Marilyn’s life. Nic thinks if he does that, he can kiss goodbye to Marilyn.
Sid asks Marilyn for a chance to explain his feelings and she agrees, on the condition he come and have dinner with her and Mitzy. Sid agrees, but things quickly get heated and an argument ensues. Marilyn tells Sid that if he’s asking her to choose between him and Mitzy then she chooses Mitzy. Meanwhile, Mitzy has been doing some more predicting. She tells a downbeat Ruby that she’ll find love within the next two months. Ruby is overjoyed and tells Nicole who plays along with the fun of it all.
