Monday 13th December 2010
After a long time away, Roo Stewart returns to Summer Bay. Alf is surprised and delighted but there is something that she isn’t telling Alf. As Alf takes Roo back through Summer Bay, Colleen reminds Roo of her the old Roo and it seems that she can’t shake her past despite all this time.
Bianca’s dreams about Liam and April tries to convince Bianca that it is a sure sign that she is making the wrong decision. Bianca’s indecision about her desire to marry Vittorio comes to a head and she is just about to tell him she needs more time, when Liam walks in with his new girlfriend, Nina.
Will tries to get Lily settled into their new life in Summer Bay but Lily is frustrated, unable to understand why Gypsy left them and why they have to start a new life. Eventually Will tells Lily the truth and manages to get Gypsy on the phone so Lily can talk to her.
Tuesday 14th December 2010
Liam introduces Nina to Vittorio and Bianca and they discuss the upcoming marriage. Despite her reservations Bianca decides she wants to move the wedding forward. Later on Vittorio tells Liam that he can forget about her as Bianca will be marrying him.
Roo attempts to mend bridges in Summer Bay in light of her return but Colleen can’t help reminding Roo that perhaps her life hasn’t turned out exactly how she hoped it would. Alf has a quiet word with Colleen telling her to say nice things or nothing at all.
Sid finally reveals to Marilyn that Mitzy told him that her end date still stands. Marilyn is shocked by this news and needs some time to process all this. Marilyn decides that she doesn’t want to move in with Sid till he has had time to tell the children.
Xavier spends time with John trying to help him through the relationship break up. When Liam gets his job back from Gina, Xavier see this as an opportunity for John and Gina to reconcile. He talks to John to try and get him to sort things out with Gina. Little does Xavier know John and Gina have already reconciled and having a saucy affair behind closed doors.
Wednesday 15th December 2010
Robertson questions Roo about Hugo and Martha at the request of the Federal Police. Roo claims she hasn’t been in contact with either of them, but is that really the truth?
Leah and VJ return from Africa and Leah reveals to Miles that the relationship with Elijah has finished. Leah is suitably distraught and Robertson, though happy to have Leah back, is also aware that she is not looking for romance. He tells Leah he is content to just be her friend, though deep down he feels there’s still hope for romance yet.
Ruby is pining over her unrequited desire for Alexander, but a sombre Nicole finds Ruby quite painful. Ruby realises that she has been self absorbed and tries to help cheer Nicole up after her tough year. Alexander kisses Ruby during her driving lesson and it appears her dreams have come true till Nicole sees Alexander kissing his girlfriend later on the beach.
Thursday 16th December 2010
Just getting over breaking up with Elijah, Leah is shocked to hear that he has been badly injured in Africa. Whilst Leah’s first instinct is to rush to be with him, Miles counsels that it is a bad idea as they have just broken up and it might be confusing for everyone. In the end Robertson goes to visit Miles and suggests that he go to Africa instead of Leah. After much consideration, it is decided and Miles goes to Africa to look after Elijah instead.
After confronting Alexander in the Diner about his cheating, Nicole reports back to Ruby. Although Ruby doesn’t want to believe the truth, she ends up confronting Alexander to find out for herself. Alexander tries to talk his way around what he’s done and when Ruby doesn’t buy it he turns on her, telling her he wouldn’t have bothered if she wasn’t so easy. Ruby is left crushed.
Charlie finds out about Alexander and his cheating on Ruby. Charlie is incensed at his actions and goes to confront Alexander, using her position of authority to bully him into apologising to Ruby. Ruby is thrilled by his apology, unaware he was pressured into it. Unfortunately Ruby soon finds out the truth and Charlie tells Ruby that she needs to use her brain more when it comes to chasing love.
Friday 17th December 2010
With Dex heartbroken after finding out Graves used him and Indi frantically studying for exams, Marilyn and Sid are finding it hard to break the news to the kids that Marilyn is moving in. But Marilyn believes Mitzy’s prediction that she will die soon and is adamant she wants to spend her remaining days with Sid.
Roo starts considering her life as she wanders throughout Summer Bay questioning if she belongs here any more. After spending time with Alf who get’s annoyed at her being so negative about her time in the Bay, she comes across Angelo fishing and starts to recall all the things she did enjoy about her time there.
Robertson prepares to leave Summer Bay in light of the fact that his investigation into Penn’s disappearance has come to a standstill with no fresh evidence. Charlie feels it’s good riddance, but it seems he won’t be gone long as Penn’s body washes ashore.
Home And Away returns to Five after a Christmas break on Monday 17th January 2011.
