> Find out the latest Neighbours spoilers.

Andrew Robinson arrives onscreen in the UK in a few weeks - how would you describe his character?

Andrew is very calculating, constantly thinking 'what’s in it for me' and how he can get his own way. However, deep down he does have a good heart and will help others as long as he isn’t compromised.

What was your first day on set like?

I was terrified! My heart was pumping through my chest. There were about 50 extras called that day and my first ever kiss scene. I’m still getting over it!

What's it like working with the Robinsons/Napiers (Stefan Dennis, Jane Hall, James Sorensen)?

They are the best people to work with, I really enjoy my scenes with them. They've been here for a while and know what they are doing, and I feel that I’ve learnt so much after doing a scene with them. Plus they’re good fun.

Were you disappointed that you didn’t get to work with
Pippa Back (your onscreen sister Elle) before she left?

Yeah, a little bit, I just missed her by a week!

What was your reaction to the news that your onscreen step-brother Declan Napier will be recast with a new actor when
James Sorensen finishes filming in a few weeks?

James has come a great mate and I’ll really miss having him around, we all will but I’m looking forward to working with Erin (Mullally).

What's been your funniest moment since joining the show?

It’s probably the reaction from the cast and crew to my accent. They still have that “what the hell did he say” look on their faces a lot of the time.

And your most embarrassing moment?

My first on-screen kiss on my first day, it will take a lot to top that.

Do you get recognised much yet?

I do get recognised and I’m still getting used to it. It’s quite weird at first, however it’s also pretty cool that people love the show so much and are so into the characters.

How long do you plan to stay on the show for?

As long they want me, I’m having a ball.

Can you give us any hints about what's coming up for Andrew?

There is romance which doesn’t quite work out as he planned, he and his father Paul Robinson really test their relationship and he finds himself in no mans land in terms of his friends.

Is there any chance we’ll see Andrew’s mum Christina (Gayle Blakeney) return for a guest stint?

I’m not aware that anything is planned.

If you weren't playing Andrew, which other Neighbours character would you like to be?

I like the Lucas (Fitzgerald) character, pretty cool dude, rides a motorbike, plays a lot of pool.

Apart from acting, what are your other hobbies, ambitions and interests?

Surfing, indoor soccer, long boarding, fishing and hanging out with my family.

Last film you saw at the cinema:

Avatar, loved it.

Last TV show boxset you bought:

Season 6 of Entourage.
