Lou is warned that the police will arrest him and charge him with kidnapping if he doesn’t hand over Harry. Lou concocts a plan to keep Harry hidden until his social worker agrees to move the bully out of Harry’s foster home. The whole neighbourhood pitches in to hide Harry. When the authorities finally catch up with him, Harry’s case worker has good and bad news: the bully will be moved to another foster home, but Lou’s rebellious stance hasn’t done his guardianship application any favours.
Karl realises the stress of Dan and Libby’s marriage woes is having a negative effect on Susan’s health. When a confrontation with Dan results in Susan nearly collapsing again, Karl begs her to stay away from her son-in-law. But Ben wants his stepdad and grandmother to get along and forces them together again. Fearing for Susan’s health, Karl takes matters into his own hands and issues Dan with an ultimatum.

Putting aside their personal dramas, the teens head off for Schoolies. With Zeke on a mission to forget Sunny and Donna and Ringo re-connecting, Kate and Declan find themselves pushed together. However when Kate undergoes a Donna-inspired makeover, Declan’s reaction is muted, confusing Kate. Guessing he thinks she looks cheap, Kate doesn’t guess she’s actually stunningly gorgeous, drawing the attention of a group of older guys. Seeing Kate out of her depth and being treated inappropriately, Declan shuts down the party, kicking everyone out. Kate takes Declan to task for trying to rule her life, questioning why he cares. Can Declan deny his growing feelings for Kate?
Fearing Dan’s continued presence will exacerbate Susan’s MS symptoms, Karl’s reluctant to encourage Libby to seek couples counselling. Eventually explaining his concern, Karl asks Libby and Dan to go away and sort out their differences so Susan can have a break. Unwilling to leave her mother when she’s seriously unwell, Libby’s torn between looking after her mother and saving her marriage, until Susan puts her foot down.

Off the back of their kiss, Declan denies any feelings for Kate, leaving her confused and disappointed. Meanwhile Ringo’s jealousy causes a rift between him and Donna, leading her and Kate to ditch the boys at a dance party. Determined to have a good time, Donna’s fancy is taken by suave club promoter Andrew. After another bust-up with Ringo, Donna’s left alone with consoling Andrew. Will she take solace in the arms of another man?
In the wake of Sunny’s departure, Zeke isn’t expecting anything from Schoolies week. But when he meets up with gorgeous Mia, this lack of pressure means the sparks start flying. But there’s something about Mia Zeke doesn’t know.
Lyn plans to enter Erinsborough News’ “Christmas Spirit Competition”, especially after learning that Paul will have nothing to do with the judging. However, Paul’s desperate not to crown Lyn Scully a winner of anything and urges Rebecca to enter and to win. Meanwhile Steph forces Lucas out of Number Thirty-Two and he realises Steph’s jealous of his new close friendship with Libby.

Libby and Dan begin marriage counselling, hoping to move forward from their recent tragedy. But Dan walks out – and offers Libby a radical, last ditch opportunity to save their relationship. Can their marriage survive?
Tension runs high amongst the teens as Donna wrestles with her guilty secret and Declan stews on his misguided kiss. While Zeke is reluctant to discuss his experiences with Mia, Declan and Zeke work to help push Ringo and Donna back together. But can Donna ever overcome her guilt?

Libby and Dan struggle to come to terms with the end of their relationship while Steph and Lucas are there to support them. But when Steph dedicates herself to looking after Libby at the expense of also being a friend to Dan, Dan accuses Libby of turning their friends against him. While Karl tries to keep Libby’s marriage break up from upsetting Susan, Dan demands Lucas pick a side. With their separation getting increasingly messy, it’s only a matter of time before Dan or Libby do something they regret.
Despite his worst intentions, Callum finds he’s passed Grade 6 and will be going to high school next year. Toadie finally figures out that Callum’s been intentionally doing badly at school in the hope of being kept back, so older kids don’t bully him. Toadie tries to offer re-assurance but it’s Paul who Callum turns to. Thus begins the battle between good and evil for possession of Callum’s soul.
