Donna’s nervous as she arrives at Court but Paul’s pleased to see her, hopeful her presence will further unsettle Steph. As the trial commences, Donna’s anxiety grows and when Sam interrogates Kate about the details of Ringo’s fatal accident, Donna can’t take it anymore and is forced to escape. Needing to clear her head, Donna confides in Zeke, only to discover Paul’s ulterior motive for encouraging her to attend the trial.

Uncomfortable at having such public support, Steph urges Summer and Lucas not to stay and watch the Court case. Summer’s frustrated Steph’s pushing her away again, speaking to Lucas’ feeling of rejection as well. When Sonya suggests that Summer find another way to support Steph, Lucas comes to the rescue…

Tuesday 21st December 2010

Despite Steph’s wishes and Sonya’s protestations, Toadie charges ahead with his plan to use Postnatal Depression as part of Steph’s defence strategy. Shocked when Doug arrives at the Courthouse to give evidence, ambushed Steph walks out. Toadie convinces Steph to trust him – but will it backfire?

Tired of the fighting that Steph’s trial has caused in Ramsay Street, Donna pleads for one day without it, convinced a street barbeque will diffuse simmering tensions. Despite a brief thaw, Kate and Declan struggle to keep their issues buried for Donna’s sake. Still upset about having to call things off with Brennan, Kate cracks when she’s reminded of the hold Declan has over her life.

Willing Rebecca finds herself drawn back into Michael’s orbit when he agrees to help Andrew catch up on the work he missed while Paul was in Hospital. But when Michael discovers Paul and Rebecca’s marriage is in trouble, Rebecca’s forced to make a choice. Tow Paul’s line or admit the truth to Michael…

Confronted by mention of Adam in Court, Steph confesses to Libby how much she regrets giving him up. Trying to help, Libby gets Toadie onboard and they make plans to help Steph sort out joint custody with Dan. But when Steph refuses, Libby must help her unpack her guilt – and come to a decision over her baby’s future.

Thursday 23rd December 2010

Inspired by Donna’s street barbecue, Lyn organises her own community event in honour of Ringo – a Blood Donation Drive. The Kennedys feel it’s a great gesture, but when Karl finds out it was Lyn’s idea, he rails at her hypocrisy. How can she organise a memorial to Ringo while also doing everything she can to free Steph? Susan finds herself caught between her husband and her best friend.

Confronted by their feelings for each other, Rebecca and Michael find themselves at a distance. Michael pulls away when Rebecca assures him she’s committed to Paul. And Rebecca fears she may have lost his friendship for good.

Discovering she’s now got her Learner’s Permit, Declan offers to give Kate driving lessons – strictly as a friend. But alone in close quarters, they both feel a hint of their old chemistry. When Kate comes across Brennan, she feels compelled to explain her cancelling their date last week, and finds herself torn between the two men. Which one will she choose?

Friday 24th December 2010

The rift between Lyn, Karl and Susan deepens with both sides holding firm. Libby makes it clear she doesn’t agree with her parents, continuing to support Steph. As Steph encourages Lyn not to throw away her friendship with Susan, Sam grows suspicious of the Kennedy family. Is she about to discover Libby’s secret?

Hopeful the Social will bring her and Andrew together, Natasha is disappointed to hear he’s uninterested in being elected King. Seeing the event is actually pushing Andrew and Summer together, Natasha takes drastic action, threatening to spoil the event for everyone.
