Patrick Baladi (Richard), Raza Jaffrey (Hari), Adam Rayner (Dominic) and Adam Astill (Simon) have some competition on their hands with handsome newcomers to the hit series including Oliver Milburn (Holby Blue) and Steven Brand (The Scorpion King); and actress Natasha Little (This Life) also joins the acclaimed cast in this new series.

Episode 1
Tuesday 17th February 2009

Having moved on from her first love with lesbian Alex, Jessica has been swept off her feet by playboy Mark, and the ultimate commitment-phobe is getting married. However, her friends discover things are not as straightforward as they thought when Jessica starts kissing a handsome stranger on her hen night.

Meanwhile, Katie's suspension from practicing medicine has come to an end and she is ready for her first day on the oncology ward, where her new boss is Jack, an old flame from medical school. Katie has sworn off men, but it doesn't take long before she attracts the attention of Dan, a surgeon at the hospital. Reluctantly, Katie gives in to Dan's charms and invites him on a strictly platonic date to Jessica's wedding.

Trudi and Richard's relationship is still going strong, but money is tight and life is chaotic. Trudi decides to take matters into her own hands and tries to earn some extra cash by making cakes. But Trudi starts to feel there's something lacking in her relationship, and when Richard suggests they should live together to make their hectic lives easier, her romantic sensibilities are offended.

To those on the outside, Siobhan seems to be living the perfect life with house-husband Hari and daughter Elsa. Even Elsa's biological dad, Dominic, is settling into a regular family routine. However, Siobhan and Hari's relationship is far from perfect and Siobhan is hiding a very dark secret...


Episode 2
Tuesday 24th February 2009

Lawyer Siobhan is floored when her boss introduces her to new client Tom, the man she had a secret liaison with two nights previously. Siobhan is quick to ensure Tom knows their night together was a one-off, but he is determined to carry on their affair, despite Siobhan's protestations. Siobhan loves Hari and wants to make their relationship work, but she is also drawn to Tom, and struggling to stay away.

Meanwhile, among the chaos of Richard moving into Trudi's home, she is alarmed to find his bank statement showing a mysterious payout of £3,000. Trudi confronts Richard but he's defensive and won't tell her what the money was for. However, when Richard gives her a diamond ring, the mystery is explained ... but it's not long before Trudi's suspicions are aroused even further.

After a romantic weekend in bed with Dan, Katie suddenly has a change of heart and ends their fling. When she later sees him with a pretty nurse she can't help but feel jealous. Her boss and old flame, Jack, is quick to reassure her – Dan is crazy about her. But when Jack and Katie enjoy a drink after work, Jack kisses her and Katie is left wondering what it means.

Jessica and her colleague, Simon, fear their business is close to sinking until Simon mysteriously announces he's saved the company. Wanting to share the good news with Mark, Jessica is disappointed to find he's busy with his PA, Carrie. Her jealousy soon drives her into the arms of another...


Episode 3
Tuesday 3rd March 2009

Trudi is still concerned about Richard's financial secrets, following her discovery that he's paying out £3,000 a month. When she confronts him, Richard confesses that he is paying off a debt to a client. But further discoveries raise Trudi's suspicions again and she's determined to find out the truth.

Katie is confused following her kiss with Jack. She decides to throw herself into her relationship with Dan and, when Jack tells her he wants to kiss her again, she quickly knocks him back. But, unsure if she can control her feelings, Katie questions whether she can continue to work at the hospital.

Jessica is furious when business partner Simon reveals that it was her husband, Mark, who saved the business from collapsing. It takes a lot of persuasion from the girls to make her see it as a romantic gesture. When Jessica pays Mark a visit at work, she is less than pleased to see his scantily clad PA, Carrie, in the office. Could it be that this modern girl isn't as modern as she thought?

Siobhan is hurt by Hari's lack of forgiveness following her previous affair with Dominic, which sends her straight back into Tom's bed. When Siobhan tells Hari she thinks they should have a sexless marriage, Hari can't believe what he's hearing. However, it forces him to take a step in the right direction to getting their marriage back on track, but is it already too late?


Episode 4
Tuesday 10th March 2009

Jessica is suffering from the worst hangover of her life following a massive drunken bust-up with husband Mark, and is mortified when reminded of her actions. The newlyweds soon make up and Mark whisks Jessica away for a romantic weekend. But it's not long before Mark's PA, Carrie, turns up and bursts their romantic bubble.

Trudi's shocking discovery that Richard's estranged wife, Natalie, is living in a care home and that she did not run off to Spain, has left her horrified. When Trudi finally lets Richard explain, he is terrified that she will hate him. Trudi, however, tentatively forgives Richard and they visit Natalie. But, once reality hits home, Trudi isn't sure if she can be with Richard any more.

Katie, meanwhile, is surprised when Jack takes her on a trip down memory lane. They spend a perfect day together – until Jack has to go home to his wife. Katie goes to her boyfriend, Dan's, house for lunch and is shocked to find Jack and his wife there. Filled with guilt, Katie can't play at being the happy couple any more and their pleasant lunch turns sour.

Elsewhere, Siobhan is at her wit's end trying to get her marriage to Hari back on track and remove her lover, Tom, from the picture. She encourages Hari to open his own restaurant so she can leave her job and be a stay-at-home mum. It seems she's found the perfect solution, but there is someone who doesn't want things to run smoothly for her.


Episode 5
Tuesday 17th March 2009

Flirty newlyweds Jessica and Mark are trying their best at exclusivity. But Mark still hasn't declared his undying love, which is not helping Jessica's insecurities. Meanwhile, Jessica and Simon's business is picking up and they've been booked to arrange a "twisted tea party" for self-help guru Henrietta. Henrietta soon sheds some light on Jessica's need for Mark to change. But can Henrietta be trusted and does she really have Jessica's best interests at heart?

Trudi's relationship with Richard is over. She can't live with him in the knowledge that his wife is in a care home around the corner. Determined to get over Richard, she throws herself into her cake-baking business with the support of Lucas. He becomes a welcome distraction in more ways than one.

Siobhan is in pieces following Hari's discovery of her affair with her client, Tom. Fully expecting Hari not to turn up to their planned therapy session, she is relieved when he walks in. But Hari isn't there to resolve things in the way Siobhan had hoped.

Having finally ended the affair with lover Jack, Katie is putting all her energy into boyfriend Dan. But Dan is offered a promotion in Australia and wants Katie to go with him. Will Katie, the "commitment-phobe", make the ultimate sacrifice? And, can her relationship with Jack possibly fade away as easily as she hopes?


Episode 6
Tuesday 24th March 2009

Katie's boyfriend, Dan, is devastated when he learns of her affair with Jack. Jack begs Dan not to tell his wife, Megan, about the affair but, when she witnesses Dan and Jack fighting, Megan realises what's been going on and the secret is out.

Trudi has a new love interest in Lucas. He's charming and romantic – everything she's looking for – but she can't get Richard out of her system. Trudi, Richard and Lucas are thrown together at her daughter's sports day. When Richard and Lucas enter the three-legged race together, Richard is left humiliated in a heap on the floor. As Trudi tends to Richard's injuries, it's clear they should be together, but can she truly forgive him?

Siobhan is unable to escape her client, Tom's, controlling grip. If she quits working on his divorce he'll make the photos of them together public. Despite Dominic's warnings, Siobhan is determined to get revenge. As Siobhan watches Tom destroy his wife in their divorce settlement, she's overwhelmed with guilt, but is she really prepared to give up everything to ruin Tom?

Following her split with husband Mark, Jessica is single and pregnant. She doesn't intend for that to last long; she's not at all interested in motherhood. It's not long before Mark finds out Jessica's secret and begs her to take him back, but Jessica is convinced they aren't made for marriage or parenthood. Mark is not prepared to give up without a fight, but with the termination booked, is his last-minute dash too little, too late?
