Ugly Betty: Series 3 - Preview

Betty Suarez will return soon for a third series of award-winning comedy series Ugly Betty.


When's it back?

The third series will start on Channel 4 and E4 at the end of June 2009.

How many episodes this time around?

There's 24 brand new episodes! Also, for the first time since the pilot, Ugly Betty is now filmed entirely in New York.

What's coming up for Betty?

The series kicks off with Betty returning from her trip and having to make some big decisions about what to do with her life, and which man to do it with.

And over at Mode magazine?

Wilhelmina’s (Vanessa Williams) manipulations force Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius) to make some big changes of his own, whilst she tries to poach Betty. But Daniel faces a bigger battle - to keep his son, Daniel Jnr (guest star Julian de la Celle) in the US. And when a pregnant Christina (Ashley Jensen) falls down some stairs under very suspicious circumstances, she doesn’t know who to trust. Even ex-husband Stuart (guest star Derek Riddell) is under suspicion.

And Betty's family?

Hilda’s (Ana Ortiz) illicit romance with Coach Diaz (Eddie Cibrian) heats up further, while Ignacio (Tony Plana) gets a new job at a fast food joint and finds himself working alongside betty’s arch rival Kimmie (guest star Lindsay Lohan).
