Starting on Tuesday 2nd September 2008, ITV2 will be taking to the skies with the brand new show, CelebAir; with a real plane, flying to real places, staffed by real celebrities!

In this new eight-part series, 11 celebrities will take on a range of jobs on the ground and in the air to battle it out ultimately to become CelebAir’s star employee and win thousands of pounds for the charity of their choice.

Tamara Beckwith

Tamara has written columns for many magazines and newspapers including OK! magazine and the Evening Standard. She currently writes for Hello magazine. Tamara’s radio and television career has included presenting for The Big Breakfast, MTV, VH-1, The Casting Couch, regular reports for This Morning, Richard & Judy and Watchdog. Tamara’s acting credits include performing in a tour of The Vagina Monologues. Tamara also appeared in the Puff Daddy video Victory with Danny De Vito, Dennis Hopper and Oliver Stone. Tamara has a jewellery range available exclusively at QVC.

Michelle Marsh
After winning a modelling competition through a tabloid newspaper, she was advised by the photographer that she should have a go at glamour modelling. She requested the blessing of her parents as she wouldn’t have done it without their support. Michelle has been a model in the glamour world for five years now and believes she is now considered ‘ancient’ in the industry. She really wants her music career to take off, but doesn’t intend to fully turn her back on the glamour world. Michelle is married to St Mirren F.C. footballer Will Haining and she gave birth to her first child, daughter Maddison, in 2007.

Phil Cornwell
Phil is an accomplished actor and comedian, who has been seen in seven series of Dead Ringers and he recently appeared on The Wright Stuff, a Weakest Link Special and the Sunday magazine show, Something For The Weekend. He is also a regular contributor on TalkSport Radio and The Day The Music Died on Radio 2, as well as being a regular on the Fanbanta football website. Phil is most famous for his award winning comedy show Stella Street, with John Sessions, which ran for four series on the BBC and spawned a feature length film, which has just been re-released on DVD.

Chico
X-Factor finalist Chico was born Yousseph Slimani in Wales, and spent his younger years between Morocco and the UK. His route to stardom saw him take his hand to a range of roles including trainee hairdresser, engineer, dancer and compeer singer.Chico shot to fame in the 2005 X Factor competition, where he was one of the top ten finalists, having beaten off tens of thousands of hopefuls. After The X- Factor, it came as no surprise when his first single Chico Time knocked Madonna off the top of the charts for his first number 1.

Kenzie

In 2002 Kenzie and 9 other 16-year-olds, made up of 9 MCs and a DJ, released their debut single, Crossroads. Within a week Blazin’ Squad had scored their first number one single. Blazin’ Squad began as two crews, Incredible Crew and Blazin’ Squad, and a star (or several) was born when they joined forces in early 2000. In January 2005, Kenzie came second in Celebrity Big Brother. He also had an autobiography published. Kenzie was a contestant in Sky 1’s Cirque De Celebrite in October 2006.

Lisa Maffia

Lisa Maffia came to the attention of the public as a member of the infamous So Solid Crew. She would go on to enjoy various UK hits, including Oxide & Neutrino’s No Good 4 Me, and the number one hit single 21 Seconds and it’s awardwinning video, adding each to her impressive résumé. Lisa’s debut single All Over entered the charts at number two, followed by In Love, which entered at number three. Lisa also supported Christina Aguilera on a very successful arena and stadium tour of Europe. She proved a popular and very able celebrity participant of the television show The Games 2005, where she came second and earned a silver medal.

Mica Paris

Mica Paris’s roots are in soul and gospel music and at seventeen got her first break as a backing vocalist with the UK chart band Hollywood Beyond. Mica made a major impact on the UK scene and, in 1988, she released her debut, platinum-selling album, So Good, from which she had her first top ten hit with You Are My One Temptation. Autumn of 2003 saw Mica being presented with the Gold Badge Award by the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters for her special contribution to the British entertainment industry. In September 2007, Mica turned her hand to acting and appeared in an episode of Miss Marple.

Amy Lamé

A survivor of ITV1’s Celebrity Fit Club, Amy Lamé is an accomplished writer, entertainer, as well as TV and radio presenter. Her one-woman show Amy Lamé’s Mama Cass Family Singers wowed audiences at the 2006 Edinburgh Festival, and met with rave reviews at London’s Soho Theatre. Amy is the co-founder, promoter and hostess of Duckie, London’s premiere pop and performance nightclub, taking place every Saturday at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. Amy also writes regular features for The Times, The Independent, The Observer and Woman’s Own. She was also a contestant in the Alternative Miss World competition in 1995 and 1998.

Dan O'Connor

Being cast as Ned Parker in Neighbours in 2005 was Dan’s first acting role and one he has taken to like a fish to water. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Dan entered himself in the 2004 Australian Idol competition. No one was more surprised than him when he found himself in the top 12, appearing on national television in the hugely successful series. He received a 2006 Logie nomination for Most Popular New Male Talent, was a finalist in Cleo’s 2006 Bachelor of the Year competition and was crowned the King of Teen at the 2007 Dolly Teen Choice Awards. Dan has recently relocated to London to further his music and acting career.

Johnny Shentall

Ex-Hear-Say band member, Johnny trained at Performers College after which he then went straight into commercial dance. A successful career followed, dancing with the likes of Diana Ross in the television programme An Audience with Diana Ross, Robbie Williams at The Brit Awards, Atomic Kitten, Five and with Steps on tour. After this he signed his first record deal and had a hit with the band Boom. He then signed his second professional record deal with Hear’Say, where he had huge success including a number six single in the official UK charts. Johnny also starred as Chuck in the West End production of Footloose.

Lisa Scott-Lee

After training at the prestigious Italia Conti Theatre of Performing Arts in London, Lisa went on to become one-fifth of the phenomena Steps in 1997, achieving four number one albums and 14 top five hits, a record which is only bettered by the Beatles and more recently Oasis. After selling over 15 million records, Steps split up at the beginning of 2002. Lisa has spent the last few months filming a documentary which she presented for Living TV exploring the pressures of being a celebrity mum, a subject close to her heart as she recently had her baby boy Jaden, with her husband and fellow CelebAir colleague, Johnny Shentall.
